I think the problem is this whole thing of "chatted to Rainman", "spoke to Rainman today","Just heard back from Rainman"....

Looks like everybody wants to be his number one man - and the funny thing is he will please himself. Look at the gun slide. Some "spoke" to Rainman thought they had the heads up like the number one man they are with Rainman (not targeting anyone here at all - just observing) Then he did his own thing anyway...

I am not sure what members want to get out of saying - "Have you spoken to Rainman?" (again, not targeting anyone here at all - just observing) - really? who gives a ****!!!!
Quite pathetic thinking that you may think that is special because you "spoke to Rainman"...
As he said, he gets his information from the internet - he doesn't need 20 people trying to be his closest confidant - in the end he will do what he feels is right as per his reply...

If not anyone in here than who and where?

Rainman should not have gone to the internet for this one. They gave him a book with all the reference material you ever need. Turbo posted so many great reference material as well.

I agree there shouldn't be 20 people in his ear though

Having said that I think this figure looks great!

Believe me, I've posted about this situation at least a couple of times. Too many people bugging him. Aside from one or two guys who might truly be friends with him (or at least have some sort of friendly internet relationship), the rest are just bugging him for bragging rights and brown nosing him. This is exactly how I feel - If we need to say anything, post it... All this behind the scenes crap that actually doesn't happen, or is mixed messages is ridiculous - just so you can say "spoke to Rainman"...

If you know him and are friends - good for you.

I observed the same thing with this fig. WAYYYY too many people in his ear trying to be part of his creative process. Ive never really though it a bad thing when a company asks for input regarding a future release. I admire companies that take into consideration their collector base. But with RM, i dont know. Things tend to get too crazy.

Do I agree? No.

I think the sculpt is pretty good, not mind blowing. Im hoping that a change in the eye paint and a sick stubble app will add the necessary points to it. The overall set is shaping up to be a custom fan's wet dream though. I know that your not a fan so I don't expect you to get it. No need to bash though
