I'm still asking what other accessories? The clothes didn't take up any of Rainmans time as he does not make them. So thats not an issue.

Edit:Exactly Mags I realize the talk about the beach clothing...which by the way is AWESOME and will NEVER EVER BE DONE AGAIN! Making it one of the most interesting clothing accessories EVER. Some dont like it because it reveals the 1/6 body seams....SERIOUSLY! Its an Articulated Figure! Get over it!

Well in that case I would rather have paid less and scrap the pointless dork clothing, and I am sure I am not the only one

On to Lonley Man
I'm going to help you with this. I've already compiled a hell of alot of reference, and I have been in contact with the Rainman as well..... minus the body/neckless suggestions


One really interesting accessory that strikes me is the PEACH BRANDY BOTTLE of liquor that Travie always carrys with him and puts in his cereal.

PEACH BRANDY BOTTLE is only show once in the film as above. I'd rather the money tin and clip board as VM did with his sculpt - IMO

And I would rather the FULL HEAD OF HAIR is we are voting???
most of the character building is with his locks... Yes the mohawk is iconic, but I think the character IS the Long Haired version IMO

i can how it is a 'weird' film if you were not born before 1980!
it has that really cool 70's feel... Brown tones and less quality film...No CGI back then!!!

Think V1 & V2 Bickle. This character is most deserving of it!

V2 Full Hairsculpt, Tank Jacket, Plaid western shirt, cigarbox and clipboard (already done by Velvetmorning by the way).



Mohawk is to Bickle what the "S" and cape are to Superman. Full Hair Bickle is Clark Kent with glasses!

Mohawk is his way of saying "Don't F with me, I'm going over" also a tradition for Vietnam vets who were ready to die, apparently. It also is an important reference to The Searchers which also influenced much of Taxi Driver.

On the subject of the dork clothing, which I think are awesome, why can't we just be patient? If there is not a perfectly seamless body available now that hides all joints, it is not inconceivable that there will be one made in the near future. As Shortround has already proven, the clothes can look good.

As for the head sculpt, I'd rather Rainman decide what he feels like, full hair, mohawk, or both.

Its a RM figure, there's bound to be people who had no existing interest in the character (or for that matter, only seen this movie since the RM announcement) who are still going to feel like they need to get this. Its the collect them all thing going on in the back of people's minds LOL...

We are his customers. I think his customers can have a voice. He will decide in the end on what to release, yes, but if we all wanted a mohawk version and he released a long haired version - his sales would be low. It works both ways...

Yes. I find that strange. The Butcher for example - LOVE the figure, didn't particularly like the movie or charcter that much (I'm sure I'm the only one! ) so I do not care if I own that piece of art perfection!!!

Seriously though, the character did not appeal to me, so why would I want a figure of him!?

I think some do get caught up in the whole RM thing...

Just remembered, the shades might be a bit hard for rainman to do, as he doesnt have the machines that big companies have to produce something as intricate as that. And a resin version will be wayy too fragile.
