Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

If the CRM had all this we do not need two releases here. This is not asking too much:

This Figure deserves Two Seperate Versions if we Risk losing Very Important accessories in place of other Non Essentials.

I Own the CRM version, so Speaking from Experience I can give many Reasons why this should be offered as two seperate versions. CRM does not come with the correct guns, the .44 magnum, snub nose, pocket slide gun or hand knife. In fact the guns it does include are not accurate. Assuming that Rainman will not do everything, the tank jacket and plaid shirt arent necessary when we need so many other accessories that are pretty much mandatory for the Mohawk offering.

The CRM version doesnt compare in quality to a Rainman version. Why would you assume that it would be just as easy for him to offer all those extra Uneccessary accessories. If its the mohawk version, we know what we really need already.

Essential:
Sculpt:
Mohawk

GUNS:
Smith Wesson Model 29 Magnum (.44 Magnum)
Smith Wesson Model 61 Pocket Pistol (Gun Slide Pistol)
Smith Wesson Model 36 Snub nose (Nickel Plated with Pearl Grips Version)
Knife

Accessories:
Gun Holster (.44 Magnum)
Gun Slide/Pocket Pistol (Forearm drawer slide contraption)

Clothing:
Randolph Aviator Sunglasses (Green Lens with Gold Frame)
M-65 Military Jacket (Olive Green)
King Kong Company Patch (Accurate design will be posted)
Para Wings Patch
Cowboy Boots
Cowboy Style belt
Blue Jeans
White Western cut Shirt

This is what I hope for with this release, not saying Rainman should do this but this is what I would want.

Mohawk sculpt
White custom shirt
Olive Green M65 Jacket
Jeans
Sun Glasses
Correct patches
Hand made holster made in Mexico (movie reference)
Boots
.44 magnum
.38 snub nose
.25 colt automatic
.380 walther (a lil bit of honey)

Special item: arm contraption, doesn't have to work, it would just be great if it did.

I would be more than happy

Like Turbo, I'm actually hoping for two releases at this point, as I think that gives us the best shot at getting the two looks. I just don't see Rainman investing in a separate shirt/jacket, a buttload of extra accessories, and an extra head and lumping them into a single release. I fully expect him to only do one release--mohawk version, a handful of the accessories folks want, full hair as DX sculpt. And I can already hear the collective complaints about this accessory or that one missing. Rainman will say he just can't include everything and can't make everyone happy, folks will buy anyway, etc. But I hope he does two figures to do the character justice.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

the crm version is very nice...
but it has weapons not accurate, glasses not accurate, shirt not accurate, head not so much accurate (he looks asian without glasses) and it misses the travis's knife too and gun mechanisn on the arm...
but that smirk on the head sculpt is amazing...
I didn't know the crm version did come wth the alternate shirt and the tanker jacket..very nice add, strange it not included an alternate no mowhawk head too..
It was almost perfect..
has the crm vers the holster too..?

Post a pic on the thread. I'll take a pic of mine.

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

don't know is a good idea...
I think is not correct it's rainman's thread...

It's fine! Post the pic. If you can express your opinion on about Rainman's Vince you can post a simple pic. Go for it.

I was considering sending Rainman the CRM glasses so that he can have an example to base his perfected version off of, but I found ample refrence pics instead. Hopefully he uses them.

Yes,
The CRM glasses are extremely difficult/impossible to find. Most were broken even out of the box because they were so fragile. I was a lucky person to get it fully intact perfect out the box.

But they are not too big, and only slightly round at the bottom of the frame- very minor.

With Rainman's sculpting ability the glasses will be the Best available. :clap

Re: Rainman Artwork 2013 NYC Cabbie "God's Lonely Man"

like turbo i really want this to be the perfect release, i am a huge deniro fan, and of course taxi driver is a classic that i can watch from whatever part it is up to when i spot it on cable......but i do fear, and would almost bet that there will be some dissappointed people ,,,, there is no way rainman can include what i call the ultimate bickle to end every disscusion......thats 2 head sculpt,,,,,,,every gun, the armiture gun slide, the knive, both jackets really everything that would make him 100% complete... no way this can be all done in 1 release... well it can, but it might be the most expensive rm figure yet,,,,or 2 releases, this way people have a choice of what bickle they want,,, mohakw version, or the full haired version..... i have both with velvet morning head sculpts,,,,,and bashed clothing of course, and parts....the only way to make both.............i really want both from rm...same jeans and boots for the other version, etc etc,,, we will see,,,,:dunno
