Ok been speaking to Rainman and he's given me permission to relay the information we discussed. If any of this has already be stated apologies but can't hurt to reiterate it.

The Glasses are officially a go and will be included with FS/DX and DXX

We all know about the slide Rainman says it will be sturdy and he has done the best in order to make sure it can be cast properly etc

Ordering will go live sometime between 20-25th August

Rainman will be making a one off custom box just for Travis to celebrate his 5th Anniversary

This is huge news!!!!! Gun slide, glasses, custom box!!!! HAPPY 5TH!!!!

I can enjoy the weeked with peace of mind now

I see De Niro there pretty good. Maybe a slightly older De Niro but it's him. We really can't tell 100% what this is going to be until the paint. Vince's unpainted sculpt has a great likeness but lost a bit after his paint; I hope we see the opposite here

That would be my outlook on it but I am biased.

I'd put money on the fact a lot of foul play went on too. But I am a cynic.

I respect you brother and I'm not trying to argue but what foul play are we talking about??? Did someone bribe RM? Did anyone fly out there and touture him until he agreed? He was offered a good proposition and he took it. His only worry is how people would take it. There is zero foul play here and all fair game.

Any and all major changes to ANY set by RM were all done because of fan clamoring. He never threw in something that was significant or over the top on his own free will. When I say significant I mean a serious accessory of this ilk, a major change to a sculpt, throwing in the BK cup for Jules... something like that; not him throwing in the Clockwork keychain with Alex as a nice gesture.

I think the terms of that bet were left open ended. No one ever said the bet was ONLY if he decided to do it on his own and ONLY if it was included in a DX, noit DXX, and blah blah blah. To think that people weren't going to clamor for this and RM wouldn't think about obliging is just foolish. As far as I'm concerned the odds were FOR this happening from the first talks of it

Personally I'd love to see:

H&C Set 1:
Mohawk sculpt & outfit

H&C Set 2:
Haired Sculpt & outfit

Full Set:
Both outfits with both sculpts and glasses

DX:
Both outfits with both sculpts, glasses and gun sling

But I guess everything has already been set right?

Think everything is almost 'set' but I would like the above. (Minor amendments).

Seems a fair few people would like the haired sculpt and seeing as it is a very key look I, for one, would not mind it being available outside of the full sets.

Personally I would not go that far yet.

Think I have figured out what is bugging me, (hope it's the angle): but I think the lower half of his head looks too big for the top/his hair.

Probably alone on this one.

From that picture, admittedly it isn't brilliant, I get a real sense of Trav/Deniro. I think better pictures will only go to enhance it further.

I think both sculpts are looking beautiful so far. I am very happy with the outcome of them both

I was also thinking about a Serang-like approach to this release.
Would give people options.

H&C Set 1:
Mohawk sculpt & outfit

H&C Set 2:
Haired Sculpt & outfit

Full Set 1
Mohawk.....

Full Set 2
Haired Sculpt.......

DX:
Both outfits with both sculpts, glasses and DX item gun sling


Sell only a combined 35 FS/DX and whatever people order is what ends up getting made. You could end up with

20 DX and 7 FS1 and 8 FS2
or
25 DX 7 FS1 and 3 FS2

you get my point

Edit: Instead of speculating what people want. Just let the buyer have at it and everything would work itself out.

Some people want the MANs paint job and this would allow someone to get just one Fullset figure and get Rainman's paintjob.
