Good point. I guess a real concern if he decides on that expression is that he over exagerates the smirk, it should be subtle.

This has a good view of the Gun Slide hidden underneath the wide M-65 Gussets (jacket wrist area)

I also like the serious expression as well

Between those two pics, I'd prefer the non-smirking version. Just so easy to over-exaggerate it and lose the likeness, as a few have mentioned (and looks a bit more menacing, too). Not really sure there's a 'best' way to handle this release, but as a punter, if it's between a tiny DX run that only VIPs can attain and two releases (even though there will be some overlap, like Pop has posted), then I'm OK with two releases. Presumably RM would make some concessions on price since there would be some re-use of accessories. Maybe not the most price conscious way to do it, but if I'm going to go in on a character like this, I'm going to go in all the way. Robert DeNiro's one a kind. One of my favourite actors and in one of my all-time favourite roles.

Agreed. Seeing them all has really brought back a lot of memories on watching the movie the first few times.

I wouldn't mind if RM took him as long as he wants really, I think we've waited a long time what's a little longer so it rivals bill the butcher and plainview. Wouldn't want headsculpt to suffer since its coming out way too soon.

Also, I wanted to get this off my chest early. I dont think Rainmans decal equipment is up to par. I would suggest if possible Corrose could do the Patch decals for Rainmans tailor for the M-65 Jacket. His equipment creates color correct high quality transfers. If Rainman could outsource this to Corrose, I think we would get extremely detailed patches. This is only a suggestion, I have not spoken to Corrose or Rainman about this.

Deniro's likeness is pretty hard to nail. But yeah, curious to see how this will go. I think he should be starting already, but I guess it will be put on hold for a while as he's doing some more tuning for Jules.

Maybe like a month from now? Because rainman would need give or take 25-30 days to paint all the 30 Jules sculpt for the FS. Then he'll have time to sculpt Bickle.
