Did Rainman release photos to VIPs already? They keep trickling in haha... just show them all already!




Can any of you with contact to Rainman ask him how the rings are done? Are they removable and can be slid onto the finger of an Enterbay body? Reason I'm worried is there were only 4 Vincent full sets left for nonVIPs last time, and I doubt my luck will improve.

I dunno man, quite a few VIPs have chimed in that they aren't sold not he sculpt yet. Plus there's that Bickle announcement which most are looking forward to. There might be chances that this wouldn't do too well, and folks end up selling the Vincent figures which a few have been doing.

Even though you don't get it from the rainman initial release, there are always folks that changed their mind and sell em once they got it in hand, so I don't think you should worry too much.

Seriously! It's something like the $2,000 mark right? And it's not like they ever sell them off at their price... they sell them with a markup lol. And then it's after I already got the H&C finally put together and proudly displayed lol.



But ya... would greatly appreciate hearing back from Rainman about the rings issue.

I kinda get why some would say it looks like someone cosplaying SLJ. I think its mainly due to the paint app thats too shiny and not matte enough. Kinda reminds me of downey jr in Tropic Thunder. But then again, in hand it could look better, so who knows.

I think seeing this sculpt from different angles will change it completely. Some things look a bit off from here, but I can almost see where they'll be corrected from the right shot.

I'm still hopeful this will turn out a'aight. The raw sculpts looked more like SLJ to me. I'm thinking it's that downward angle, and the eyebrows are creating an illusion that the eyes are more squinty than they actually are.

Mmmmm... pretty damn good . I think outta the gates he already looks better than Vincent. It's not pure likeness and there is something that is off but I like what I see from this one angle so far. Gotta say that the eyes look better to me painted. I was worried about the raw sculpt as it looked like RM's stylistic eyes. Although they may not be perfect SLJ eyes, they seem more like part of the expression than stylized so in that way I don't think that they subtract from likeness.

Love the ring and the wider lapels and the pinned down collar

Wondering about the body... praying for a good selection of accessories.....

I am not even concerned about the shape of the eyes, they look accurate to me. What I don't understand is the puffiness around the bottom of the eyes? It is the top of his cheeks that are prominent not the bags of his eyes. Also when I look at ref pics of SLJ he has dirty white eyes. Maybe the eyes are to white?

I'm just seeing some Old samurai type dude here... He looks too asian Vince looked a bit cartoony, he even had a hint of asian in him too but Sam needs mad work... Im thinking of sticking with what I have.

Most of us are adults here anyway. These arent toys we are collecting. Not at these prices. To be honest nothing should be censored.
