I personally don't mind if the case doesn't even open, I want to display it closed in Jules' hand anyways. Lots of good things mentioned in here, and awesome close-ups of the dork clothes too. These will be rad.

This is what I was thinking, a frosted plastic cover to hide the LED, batteries and wires and a pressure switch like a refrigerator light that comes on when you open the case and off when you close the case. The LED could be yellow or Rainman could use a super bright white LED and tint the plastic cover a transparent yellow.

I dont know me personally find it way too much time and materials wasted on something that Ill hardly ever open, id rather that money and time went towards producing more accessories that will be seen, again this is just my opinion.

I would rather a case that does not open than one that does but has no light. It would definitely be easier and cheaper to cast a solid case.

I'm most concerned with the body. The Enterbay bodies are HUGE compared to Hot Toys. In one of the above pics it does look like Jules is a couple of inches taller than Vince, but in another they look about the same height with Jules' hair adding some inches.

On IMDb Travolta and Jackson are stated to be within a 1/2 inch of each other, which would seem to suggest the bodies could be the same height.

Rainman in his email also said that he was thinking about a wig for Jules - I'm not sure this is the way to go. But I guess it would depend how it looks.

I think Travolta is on an apple box here. Look at where his knees and waist are compared to Jackson. Jules is taller than Vince, I think the elevator scene is the correct height difference, but the Enterbay body will require a torso mod, the arms and legs are close to TT length. It's either EB or the AA KO body and I'd be okay with either really, whatever looks best. The wig is a concern since I'd rather Vince and Jules match in styles and I'm not a big fan of the hair on Wonka but I do like it on Marla. I think I will prefer sculpted hair but we'll see what RM cooks up. Hopefully he shares WIP pics before he's invested too much time into something that isn't quite working or is off like Vince's watch.

Yep. In real life Samuel L Jackson is like 2 inches taller, but he's about that much shorter than Travolta in that photo. (Don't base his height off the top of his hair haha)

It's Hollywood... they change people's heights all the time.
