Those proportions look really off in that pic.
Congrats to all receiving and happy with this.
Have to be honest, feel it is a very weak offering from rainman.
You really have to have this in hand to appreciate it brother. I do know what you're saying and the overall execution of the release could've been handled much better as well as better accessories. The gun being small really bothers me but at the end of the day the book is cool if it's bound properly and the dork clothes are something I'm interested in now that I have them in hand (aside from the obvious hurdles to bash that well, it really would call for a neckless sculpt. I hope that he’ll be willing to offer them with the next restock).
But aside from everything else this was never going to be a general shelf popper. This is one for the true fans and only pops in the minds of people that see past the plain Jane suit and only see a propper representation of a character from one of their fave movies. GRAIL!
Also, it's all about the pair. The true power of this set will be more evident when he's next to Jules.
No that's not accounting for Anton's production time. The rush that we saw began right after Anton stared shipping. Some people were still waiting to receive Anton and we already saw a full sculpt of Vince and sales day was announced. That was about a 3 week push because we usually all receive the current figure and get to enjoy it for a couple of weeks before the next WIPs pop up and sales day is announced.
I guess he feels if he shaves off 2-3 weeks between each release, he can fit another fig in for the year. Maybe the goal is to get Anton and all 4 Pulp figs done by December
I haven't got my Vince in hand yet it would appear customs think I need to pay just a little more to receive him lol. However once you see the quality that people like RM put out you can't compare it with zytoys. I own one of those black zytoys suits and it's not bad for what it is and what it cost but it ain't in the same ****in' ballpark, it ain't the same league, it ain't even the same ****in' sport.

I already have a number, less 4% paypal fees, hand delivered. I'm not chasing anyone on this though. Think on it, I'll get you that info.
So far this and Pajji's pose with the gun tucked in the pants are some of the best pics. Did you change up anything though? The arms seem very bulky. He looks roided up. It could be the pic that's distorted. iPhone?
Also did you (or any other fullset owners) notice if your sculpt has patches of missing airbrush detail on the hair? Some areas are much lighter than others.
The snap closure button is bothering me some. I don't want to mess with a fullest but I'm considering a mod to give the blazer a cleaner look.
Overall I'm loving Vince though. It's definately one of my favorite peices. The suit brings out all the other diversity of the other figures and he mixes well standing next to other peices.
Edit: The accessories were light for Vince but it works out even with Jules.
Vince Gold Earring, Jules Gold Chain, Vince Watch, Jules Bracelet, Both Beach Clothes, Vince Book, Jules Mofo Wallet (It better not be made of paper).
Rainman's gotta throw in that briefcase though.

There's not to much camera distortion. It does look a little slimmer in person but he is a bit bulky. It's just the TTM21. You and Snake are probably talking more about the right upper arm. It looks so jacked because it's the way I had to turn the arm to get him in this pose. You're looking square at the widest part of the arm, the full length between the bicep & tricep
It's interesting to see how differently the bodies work on different characters. The 21 on Anton made him appear quite skinny and makes Vince seem roided up in certain poses. These things have a bit to do with the sculpt size and a hell of a lot to do with the outfits. Same way that Nick Fury is on TTM15 and Red Skull is on a Slim

It's actually a Rainman cigarette. But monkey depot has them in stock regularly. Just paint it all white.
