No ones bugging you on how much you spent on your 20 Banes plus mods so I don't know why your worried about what others are spending on themselves. If 4 versions of Bane makes you happy then that's all gravy; and if we want to spend RM money on a Vince then that's cool too :wink1:

Here's a pic of a pic. :lol I'll take some better ones once I get home. It's on a narrow shoulder with ttm19 arms and Perseus legs. Looks ok. Added a padded foam for the torso. This is just a mock up.

Don't think I'll ever display this.

That looks awesome. Sculpt size stands out a bit because of the the thin layer of clothing, but thats a given and it looks great just mocked up! Very happy with it! It will be fun to switch it up once in awhile!

Put the paper bag in his hand, it'll create a point of interest and distract a bit from the articulated seams etc. Maybe pull the shorts down a bit

I put the shirt on a Barney Ross body and it filled the shirt up really nice. Only thing is, it has a sculpted neck and so does Vince. Don't think I'll be chopping up either one. :)

Take your time figuring it out! We'll wait for the recipe :lol

Just checked, the shorts have functional pockets! :panic: :panic:

To make the dork clothes work is.... work. I've messed around with them a little and it would be very hard to make something suitable for the more finicky people here. The shirt actually shouldn't be too filled because its pretty loose and baggy on screen. Just a pouch for the gut should do. For the rest of the body you got the right idea. At some capacity it would have to be Frankensteined. In order to just make life easy and go with a TTM19 upper half maybe we can see if RM will offer neckless sculpts to avoid torso swaps or cutting the neck ourselves

We'll just have to wait when more suitable bodies are available. This is bound to happen eventually.

Whats the word on the likeness? Where do you, if at all see minor flaws. Where do you see it really shine?

Actually I watched the first couple of scenes of the flick last night and Vince hung out with me :lol. I was comparing him the whole time. I really have to say that the sculpt is phenomenal. RM really got 95% of it right. There's a little too much "Rainman" in the eyes for my liking and I think that that's the only aspect that takes a few points away from perfect likeness. Aside from that he's nailed all the other facial features near perfectly (good thing that he listened to our suggestions about beefing up the face. PERFECT!) My girl thinks that the eyebrows could have been a little less bushy but I don't even see it as a noteworthy miss. They are bushy on screen but just more sparse, which I'm sure is hard to acheive with paint.

This is another master piece from The Man as far as I'm concerned. I was worried when I was looking at pics that I was going to be underwhelmed but the second I opened the box and laid eyes on him... forget it... this piece is sick. I was blown away immediately. GRAIL! I understand why the simplicity of the character may not have everyone raving over it but as I said the true fans see past that and recognize that this is as quality as basically any other RM set. I think that anyone who isn't getting that warm fuzzy rush straight outta the gates of having a brand new over the top piece will change their mind once they put Jules next to him.

So basically my standpoint walking into this was: to be worth RM money these "simple" looking characters have to be something more special than what can be easily bashed by us. I'd 100% feel that way if certain aspects of the set were handled differently, but I do feel that way 90%, so I say mission accomplished.

Speaking of which, how DID you do the neck on a TTM19?

:goodpost: Well said Pop. I think I agree with basically everything you said. The sculpt and paint is really excellent. I like how he looks right out the box, with very minor futzing he looks great. The suit is very high quality.
