Those look awesome but I think that she (if she did paint them all) overdid it with the blood a little. I like the amount that he showed in his proto better and it's more accurate. The skin coloring is a big improvement though because in his proto it almost looks like unpainted light grey resin; don't know if that was lighting or not

Anyone know if Lee marks down the value?

You're in Canada, right?

Re: [Rainman Artwork]The Butcher V2

So Amsterdam announced, then put on hold, then announced again, then canceled, then Torrance is announced, then put on hold, then this is announced, right? I guess if he's going to mod the existing head and reuse the existing knife sculpts and hat, and reuse the existing knife rig, then there really will be a minimal amount of work to get this one going. Maybe that's why he's chosen it.

Personally, I would be a heck of a lot more interested if he did a totally new sculpt, but like others, I don't suspect that's going to happen.

Lee has officially canceled Amsterdam? That's a shame would have been a nice addition to Bill.

Should have gotten ours. It's the reason Lee canceled. Erick Sosa killed the head sculpt.

Yeah, I tried awhile back but missed out, sent Pedro a ton of emails but didn't get a spot. That's cool you guys are going to have a great figure, can't wait to see it Cheers

Missed out on Amsterdam too...would've been nice to have both but with this version of Bill, an Amsterdam like here would go better. Hopefully we get one eventually.

We'll a lot missed out on Amsterdam only 15 were made by that particular group and the waiting list has almost doubled. There will be another one made eventually, it's too iconic of a character to not. The waiting list alone can probably convince another tailor and sculptor to gain interest now. A Dandy Amsterdam would be a whole different direction than the current commission.

The Amsterdam thread doesn't really have a wait list because its already been said that its only ever doing 15, also for awhile it looked like Rainman was going to do Amsterdam even before that thread was created and people pissed and moaned, not enough interest. That run was capped at 15 because when time came for payment only 12 step forwarded (3 later on after it closed...) and paid, it was originally opened for like 30spots, a lot of people are all talk and then when it comes time for money they are no where to be found, that wait list are people who didn't pay and were on the initial interest list. Then down the road way after its been closed they see how awesome its coming along and moan for it to be opened up again for more spots...

This process never fails...

Both outfits were being offered too but there wasn't enough interest. One of the reasons it got capped at 15 was because that's how many blade sets I ordered. If people would have come on sooner I would have simply ordered more. At some point you have to move forward on a project.

That thread was started 8-16-2013.

understand hope there is another run sometime at least for the Heads sculpt i would have paid rite away but never new about this project till the other day i also like that you pay as the project goes that would have made it even easier for me oh well maybe there will be another version of Amsterdam down the road just hope i dont miss that as well.

That was not a shot at you so please don't think I'm coming down on you. This stuff happens all the time with this hobby. It's the reason the secondary market has such crazy prices. People come in late for no other reason but they didn't know. But as a customizer, it can be frustrating to offer products out with little takers, only to be blasted with pms after the projects are done and to see the new prices things are fetching. Its a conversation me another artist recently had.

I was originally on that list, but i pay all the time for my list spots. The reason i didn't on this occasion was because of the absolute crazy price for pants and top. The pants looked like recycled Sweeney Todd or Joker pants and you can buy the entire figure for that price, keep the body and trousers and sell the rest and end up with them for free. You would then only need the top.

Love Robbie's stuff and love the sculpt and hope that's offered as i'd buy one of those.

I'm still learning with custom stuff though.

Exactly! That clothing set is nowhere near the asking price. Just look what Yunsil offers in that price range, I think an A la Carte would've been much more feasible for a larger number of people.

To me those clothes look good and with Robbie's weathering they will be great, just look at his accessories pic on the clothes, that's badass x10000! I guess some of us just had faith while others didn't its cool though, in the end I'll have an awesome Amsterdam figure with great clothing (subpar to others) rather than having to constantly ask for the items to be offered again...
