Why does everyone always act like that on custom threads, why would you want to rub it in someone's face that you got something they don't? I thought this was a board for collectors to enjoy collecting. I understand the resources were not there to make more than 15 I am fine with that, I respect also that you guys want something " Limited", but to say anything else is subpar? I guarantee at least 2 will go up on the sales thread after a month, like the Moe's Dumb and Dumbers, GBU, Blondie, Bill V2, and Walking Dead I have seen for about 2x the retail so then maybe one of us can get a badass x10000 Amsterdam. I really do like you AJK so don't take this personally It's not just you that has had this opinion. I Love SSF and am late to the game on some interest threads so I was just trying to find a way to add to my collection as you guys want to add to yours.

On a side note I contacted Pedro months ago about getting on Amsterdam I had the money waiting to go , he opened up three more slots and I didn't subscribe to the post so I missed my chance not seeing the update, so yes I am a bit jealous of you guys and mad at myself for making that mistake.

To me those clothes look good and with Robbie's weathering they will be great, just look at his accessories pic on the clothes, that's badass x10000! I guess some of us just had faith while others didn't its cool though, in the end I'll have an awesome Amsterdam figure with great clothing (subpar to others) rather than having to constantly ask for the items to be offered again...

Not having a go mate, and i don't think they are sub par as i reckon the pants are Hot Toys anyway, but crazy money and i simply stopped all that. Not sub par, just ridiculous price for top and pants.

Robbie's stuff looks awesome as does the head, so pleased for everyone getting it.

I am not bragging I have the figure and others don't, thats not my point, my point is when time came to pay the money some believed in it and others didn't, I believed in it and now look its going to be awesome, I am just sick of people constantly pissing and moaning when they miss a figure, I joined this hobby late too man and I never whined about something being closed, I figured out how it worked, I got my Plainview, Doc, Wonka, Bill, etc all 2nd hand and I paid those prices because I know thats how its goes, I didn't write to Rainman and ask for him to make me one, you miss something then oh well you have patience and wait to try and get it when it pops up on the 2nd market, so many people just want to whine when they can't get something its never ending. People need to suck it up and have patience, you are not always going to be around when a new figure pops up and not being so doesn't entitle you to it later... I like you too man and this isn't directed at you.


Amsterdam list could of been opened to 100spots and I wouldn't have cared but once its closed its closed, people need to learn that.

I even saw in the Kato Indy Jacket thread people tried PMing him to jump ahead haha like seriously? What is wrong with people.

I think that Amsterdamn looks great. I absolutely would've picked it up but didn't stumble in until way too late(hence why I didn't know a dandy set was offered as well) However, missing that saved me the trouble of putting together a Bill v1 so money in my pocket for other endeavors. Guaranteed someone lists that on the FS section it'll get gobbled fast.

I can def see it being a pain as a customizer here. Either people rushing you cause they can't wait or constantly barraging you with emails trying to get something released two years ago(I'm def guilty of that tho
But I agree. When a run is done and it's closed, it's done. Then ya gotta hope a fellow freak does the right thing for ya(which happens often as far as I can see) or ya wait till you find it at a price you're comfy with. It eventually happens and to me, that's half the fun of the custom side. Either that, or hopefully someone else tackles it and does it well. How many people did Wonka? We got two Dark Helmets and honestly, they're both awesome. Two GBU sets and I think they're both spectacular.

This is why I now subscribe to the interest section in general.

Anyhoot, lets all get back on topic and hope Bill 2.0 starts shipping soon!!

U shld have told me. I let go of my spot... I was hit with massive taxes that month and pretty much had to pay right away to avoid interest and origami was more than patient. He waited for a no from me before he offered it to someone else. If i knew u were in i wld have (if they wld allow) offered you my spot...
