Got mine in today!!! I will comment more on it later, but wow this thing is unbelievable. Still posing it and doing little adjustments, but thought I'd snap a pic. unfortunately, as previously stated, it is impossible to capture the beauty of this figure compared to how it looks in person. just amazing. got #16 / 20, birthday is on the 16th. nothing important, but made it a bit more special to open up :)

EDIT: Can someone point me in the direction of ankles that will slip into the shoes? He needs extenders but also the shoes call for a special type of ankle. any ideas?

You take the feet from the body you are using and remove the female part by splitting them in half. Then you can glue the female peg holder into the shoe.

got mine today! Blown away! Just a pure work of art in every way, one day ill tackle the hat repaint to achieve true perfection but heres mine out of the box with a first pose.

it's actually impossible to photograph the quality of the overall figure, from the paint to the outfit and accessories, RM has set a new benchmark with Bill V2!

Mine full ver will be here tomorrow, Calgary as well! I can't wait!

Got my DX as well. Photos don't do this figure justice.

no doubt. On shelf it has such an intimidating presence - I can see why Robbie stated it compares to v1, or arguably surpasses it. true work of art.

I find myself periodically going over to take a look at Bill. The coat, vest and pants are so vivid and bright. He is so menacing and intimidating, so excited to have my first official Rainman piece!

My bill's chain is hanging, i put a little bit of blu tac and stuck it inside the pocket. Then i checked reference pictures and realized it's suppose to be hanging. :slap

haha i did the same, and it was pointed out by my buddy alex it hangs down in the film. small deal, easy fix! ;)

I did the same thing till I saw Lee's production photos lol

It is hanging in lee's production photos but I watched the film the other night and if I remember correctly it is suppose to be chained across and not hang.

Edit: Nevermind I was wrong, guess I was thinking of a different waistcoat:

Man oh man have I missed a lot! I've been so damn busy that I've been completely off the grid since Thursday. I had just 5 minutes to log in on Saturday :gah:. Lots of catching up to do and this is the perfect thread to start with.

Awesome pics from everyone all around!! I picked up Billy-boy form the PO this morning and I wanted to catch up on this thread before I unboxed. Looks unreal!! Off too see for myself!....

I make no claim to know what I am doing but I had some model paint thinner so I just used it to strip off the top. Probably could just paint over the top for as little abuse these take.

My man.... if YOU don't know what you're doing... then nobody here does.

PM incoming you fkin' rock star!!!

I bent one knife, broke off the handle of another, and tore the side of one sheath. Luckily I bent it back straight, glued the handle back on, and the sheath hole can be carefully glued back together. I really shouldn't be doing this at 2:00am.

Ooooffff my aching heart! Glad to hear that it's all fixable issues. I've learned the hard way a few times; it's best to lay off these when you're too tired or rushed and impatient or whatever else. I try to dig in fully and thoroughly when I have enough time to dedicate and am bright eyed & bushy tailed enough to be patient. It's the best way to avoid disasters

My v2 DX comes tomorrow and my v1 FS I just bought comes Tuesday. Thinking about doing a double unboxing of both bills together....

That is absolutely the right thing to do!
