Not to sure how to tie the scarf thing - man what a beaut of a figure. BRING ON THE NEXT RM FIGURE! too soon?

I finally picked my set up today. Looks phenomenal overall, but one of the mustache tips broke off in transit. I wish the whole piece broke off so I could glue it back in instead. A bit of a bummer. Hopefully he'll help me out with a replacement mustache piece or something. He really should have modified the way the individual heads were shipped IMO. Because of the hair, it forces the sculpt to get pushed into a side angle in the box, which puts pressure right on one of the two mustache tips.

Damn that is unfortunate Kara - did you find the broken piece? Maybe you can sculpt a little tip and paint it up (may not be too noticeable).

hope the man can help you out, thats really a bummer - but perhaps it is so small that like vareika sais, you could sculpt a tip on there and paint it so its not noticeable? either way, def. contact Lee. :)

That mark in the black stripe?

That was my guess too. I actually have two of those white marks on the front of my pants and one on the back. They didn't come out with a little water and almost look like bleach spots.

I have a few other pretty sizable issues going on as well. I made a deal to swap my FS with someone for their DX but I got the regular (non-DX) COA. I also had a broken mustache right out of the box (full/clean break) but I couldn't find the broken piece anywhere. Too bad because if I did it would probably be an easy enough fix. And last but not least... I don't have a tray for this little piggy :monkey1. The upside though is I DID end up with this one :lol:lol (or one with a similar app; no blood trickle on the left side):

I'll have to give the big guy a shout tomorrow. It's all a bit aggravating but I'm not overly worried because I know that he'll make good on most of the issues. I have a feeling that I'll be SOL on the pants though.

The bumpy unboxing didn't sour me though. I'm still lovin' the piece for the beauty that it is. The shillelagh & knife set are amazing! I'm nuts for them and the pipe is really cool too. The pig is the s__t!!! Great DX choice despite my initial disbelief. However, while the knives themselves are better than V1's, the belt isn't as well made as V1. I have to take more time to do an overall apple to apple comparison, but off first impressions while I really am happy with this piece... V1 is still the king in my book

I feel so lucky my moustache didn't break while being shipped, seems it happened to quite a few sets

I'm building it tomorrow on a proper body, not a TTM22

Should be getting my DX Wednesday. I never really displayed my V1 Bill with his hat on too much, my concern was always since it's no a soft material, it scratching into the paint on the head. However, I really want my V2 with the hat on...is it going on easy enough where it's not having to be forced or pushed?
