Yeah, the dog as DX seems like something folks could easily pass on. Alternate HS would be nice, but for Doc, it wasn't a completely new face, just new hair. I would imagine that would be a hell of a lot easier from a sculpting POV (like the alt. Ed Norton just had a puffy eye, but everything else was the same). Not that it isn't possible, After all, he sculpted an entirely new character for the Wonka accessory, but a new head sculpt with completely new face would set a new precedent for Rainman work.
I know this is the movie version of Pee-Wee, but I would probably pass on any DX set not having something related to the TV show. Now, if you get Chairry, Pterri, or Jambi. . .
Gonna be Rainman's most expensive piece yet with al those accessories I'd wager.
The bike horn is essential! Considering it's how the bike was stolen when he went to buy it. And seeing as how the figures will have no bike I think its perfect. I'd love a second head over Speck myself. Even though I'd love to see what Rainman could do with him.
But thats up to Rainman to decide. Tequila Shoes, Bike Horn and Satan's Helpers vest are a must. The Texas sign can be easily made as well as the Hitchhiking stick and bag. But knowing Rainman he can make accessories as simple as these stunning!
As for the show stuff. You can pick up an old school Chairy from ebay that looks like it would work pretty well with a 12 inch Pee Wee. Plus we are going for the movie version. Reubens and Burtons vision! Show stuff can be bashed pretty easy.
This figure should be treated as a straight full set offer, similar to Bill.
Give me the figure, tequila shoes, and Satans Helpers Vest. $800 and Done. The Bike should have been offered separately like Lucy, 5 peices at $400-$600 and it would have sold out instantly.
Dont see why. Theres really not much.
Yes, but presumably not something you could actually switch out with a Pee Wee head. . .though that would be awesome if you couldMaking Jambi would be an extra HS no?
I know you aren't a fan of the TV show, but you know as well as I do that a mass released stuffed chairy doll from the 1980s isn't the same as something Rainman would produce And I really don't know anything else from the show that could be bashed any easier than accessories from the movie could be except for, maybe, giant ball of aluminum foil Biker vest or a Barbie's dog, for instance, could be bashed as rough stand-ins, but who would want that? Only $50, you say? Deal!I got this! I'll take care of the ball of aluminum foil. I'll start an interest thread. I'll only make about 10 so make sure you let me know.

I like the show but this is a movie project. So that's the main focus. And what I meant about the bashes was that they sell alot of those characters and they are pretty close to scale. Sure they can be more detailed for today's standards but they are out there. Plus with Rainmans busy schedule I don't see him taking on a Chairy or Jambi. Not that I wouldnt love then but I feel lucky just getting Pee Wee bro!I know you aren't a fan of the TV show, but you know as well as I do that a mass released stuffed chairy doll from the 1980s isn't the same as something Rainman would produce And I really don't know anything else from the show that could be bashed any easier than accessories from the movie could be except for, maybe, giant ball of aluminum foil Biker vest or a Barbie's dog, for instance, could be bashed as rough stand-ins, but who would want that? Judging past Rainman releases, accessories wise, that does seem a lot to me actually.
i'm curious.... what expression are you veering towards personally, mags?
Color me interested, Gary!
And to Magnus, it is a movie figure and so a movie related accessory with the DX makes most sense. I think it would be a nice nod to fans of the show if he gave folks something that referred to it, and something from the show could be colorful and enticing to folks, but I don't actually expect he will go that route. I'm sure it will be awesome no matter what Rainman does
