Here are some pics of the characters I was referring to previously, if Rainman is interested:

UPDATE TIME!

I was chatting with Rainman today and he was asking about what expression to use for the Pee Wee sculpt. So Im putting this out there to see what we can all decide on. I'll then give the feedback to Rainman and I guess he will work it from there.

I'm really shooting for facial expressions from the movie. It really captures his look at his best. So lets get this expression game popping! :hi5:

Just for my input on this, I like the last pic best myself. For me, Pee Wee has to have that smile, either just being his happy and care free self or just being childishly mischievous! For me, Pee Wee is all about having fun and being a kid in a grown man's body! I also dig pic #3 as a second choice.

Ok ladies….. so I hope I’m not stepping on anybody’s toes here. I could not see Pee Wee go without a bike so I am working on it as we speak. I managed to find a full metal version of the bike in 1/6 which was released in the early 1990’s and is no longer available. It has all moving parts, the chain even rotates the back wheel. I’m not sure on the final price yet as I have sunk a lot of cash into this project but it will be realistic, did I mention that I managed to obtain 26 of these bad boys. The only difference is the front suspension which I will work out. I will be sculpting the add on parts over the next few weeks, can’t see any big problems apart from the mirrors. Don’t worry, I know the standard of this figure will be high so going to take my time with each piece of the bike. Not sure if I have time to put all these together, maybe 10 painted and the rest as a kit.

I'd definitely be down for a bike if someone can get it done and at a reasonable price of course! :)

I just registered, waiting for approval on Rainmans site. I'm more excited about Pee-Wee than I thought I would be.

Wow this is perfect! Can't wait to see the final product.
and just when I had convinced myself that I didn't need the bike.

Gary take your time on this project. As long as I know this will be available I'll wait until the end of the year if I have to. In the mean time I can pose him with his tequila shoes or on a bike with his vest. :yess:

Yeah man, most of the bike is there already. This guy even has rubber tyers/peddels.

and of course the password is case sensitive as well.

I'm only interested in the head and outfit set. I don't need the bike nor any accessories really. Just Pee Wee in that gorgeous suit

This is going to be one creepy looking figure.
It really shouldn't, in my opinion. Maybe in the hands of a lesser sculptor, but I'm sure Rainman can capture a good natured Pee-Wee while still giving him one of those sly, knowing looks. Sure, that character had moments when he was mischievous or angry, but the real essence of the character is more friendly and fun-loving.

Won't let you down Sir. Happy to hear this, been a bit worried just incase you had a plan underway:hi5:

Guess. But regardless of the sculpt, guess I just find him creepy looking generally.

Nice to know we have your support! :duff

You do. :dunno

Anyone discarding or not watching this movie because they believe it's childish or something is straight talking out of their ass and doesn't remember what they saw. This movie is awesome, well-made, fun and visually exciting, and the figure will be equally representitive. This is one of those few super rare cases where I wouldnt mind if the figure came with a voice chip. Will be my first full figure since Alex and my first custom in almost a year.

I don't think anyone on here has made that claim.

Whoever didn't like the movie is just :cuckoo:
