I received my outfit and painted head set today. A wonderful figure and very well made. I took a couple quick pictures of pee wee with my crappy camera on Gary23 awesome custom bike. Of course the pics do no justice to the figure or bike.

A big thank you to Rainman and Gary for making this possible.:)

I am blown away with this figure. Don't even like Pee Wee and I want him because he just looks so damn awesome!

Who painted the sculpts that came with the clothing sets? Whoever it is they did a wonderful wonderful job :clap

just put mine together... some really quick and crappy pics:

the tailoring on the outfit is great and the accessories are cool. the head sculpt is better in hand than i expected, but it still doesn't capture as much of paul reuben's likeness as i would have liked. i think even a more peewee-esque expression might have masked some of that. the neck is slightly too long also.

the suit is really something, but i can't help feel the shoulders are a little wide. pee wee really needs to be on something skinnier and it's a shame HT haven't released a skinnier body (like the slim but taller). the narrow is still too muscular for pee wee. i may try and sand down the arms or swap it for a slim torso, but i think since rainman always does a great job of fitting clothes to a body, anything slimmer and the jacket will look oversized.

the clothing set paint is fantastic. the cert says studio df but i thought rainman found someone else for this? i think once you have gary's bike, replaced the humongous narrow hands (going to try the saeko nagami female hands with the nails repainted - seem to be smaller and have the right tone) and maybe narrowed the shoulders a little, it should make for an impressive figure :)

Looking good bro but I definitely wanna have it hand before I make my final judgement. I see the sore spots your mentioning though. Hopefully with the proper futzing it will look official! The head+clothes set paint job is actually looking really good. I would love to see some more closeup shots.

I just got word my package arrived but I have to wait till at least Monday night to get a look at it. I have my stuff shipped to the inlaws since someones always home to get it. Working this weekend so hence the long wait. I guess I have everyones pics to keep me happy till then.

Wher do I find the tracking number in my account? I went in to RM site and where do I look?

Tx guys

Congrats Eighthsamurai! Judging from the pics I can tell it's a figure that looks better in hand, similar to Wonka. I also noticed that the blazer is a bit off. It seems to be cut to long, shoulders too wide. Pee Wee's Blazer was a slim , the pants work because they look tappered but the blazer sleeve and body seems a bit too long. I'd love to see the tequila shoes and the back of the Satans Helpers Vests. Did Rainman correct the spelling?

P.S is that a johnny Depp "Dillinger" bash you got going on back there?:clap

thanks felllas. the figure does look better in hand. and it's one of those that looks awesome from far away - something people spot and go "wait, is that pee wee herman??"

i've futzed it a bit more and it looks better and the spelling on the vest has been corrected... will try and take some more pics later :)

i agree about the jacket. when i was playing earlier, i pinched the jacket at the back and it looked a lot better. might be a prob for mags with the mirrored display, but i may try and pin it like that. the trousers look perfect because he's glued a seam at the back that works great. and if you angle the head, the neck doesn't look as bad. i'm definitely going to try a slimmer shoulder to see if that helps, but so far the biggest flaw is the width of that jacket. and he needs smaller hands for sure. currently he has the kind of hands that someone being arrested in a porno theatre might have! oh wait...

@turbo - good eye on that figure! close... it's actually a WIP road to perdition michael sullivan. really simple bash - waiting for a serang miller sculpt to be modded and painted. all the other parts have been collected over time. eventually hoping to get some master tips from seb on how to give it that rained on look, to make it less boring :lol

really wanted in on this figure but the likeness just wasn't their for me. but congratz to all who got him i know the quality is awesome as all rainman figures are.

Despite the quibbles, I'm having slight pangs of regret not getting this guy. Pee-Wee is about as iconic as an 80s character as there is, and he would be so awesome to have on the shelf, even with an imperfect sculpt and slightly ill-fitting clothes. I though Rainman was going to use Slim bodies for this guy? The narrow shoulder seems like the wrong body choice in a perfect world, but I guess availability plus concerns over height won out here.

Maybe this one could have benefited from a completely different approach.

Maybe Rainman could have still offered the fullset and head plus clothing system but minus the body. I know buying slims in bulk would be difficult but leaving it to the individuals might have worked.

Looks like a slim would have been perfect for this guy. Still a wonderful figure all the same.

some more basic futzed pics. shaved quite a bit of the arms and shoulders and pinned the jacket back. as i feared, the tailoring is so precise that it still looks wide, but now slightly oversized too. but it still prefer it modded, coz at least pee wee doesn't look like the hulk.
