Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Yeah man, same day as the head sculpt. I forgot to thank you for that. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to complete my Doc. You are a lifesaver:duff

So did you catch a glimpse of your full set over Skype?

I sure did and the funny thing is that I was skyping when everyone in my house was sleeping. So I was trying to tell My mom to handle Doc with care. She couldn't hear me so I wrote on there.

ITS AN $800 Figure Handle with care!!!!

She almost dropped it when she read it :horror :slap

No problem I am happy to help a fellow freak.

:horrorIf I was in your situation I wouldn't let my mom near Doc, or any of my figures for that matter:lol

Although you have to give her credit for getting up early to show you Doc over Skype. That's commitment:lol

So he Narrow TT hands are too pale for Doc? Sounds like hassle having to buy another set of hands.....

When will you be getting your case K.bowen? I'd love to see Doc set up in one of Stations cases.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Are you guys gluing the fingers down to the cigarette?
I attempted the hot water/cold water thing and initially it held its pose then slowly went back.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Figure looks great! Why do I have to hate this movie so much? I really wish I could've gotten over how corny it was. But that figure looks really classy! Very nice I have to admit.

I had to glue mine. That was the only way. I believe ShortRound did too. Just call it "cigarette hand".

I could understand you in regards to Kurt Russell's performance with a few of his get outta my town lines but do you feel that Val Kilmer was corny? IMO, he's one of the coolest characters to date in a movie.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Guess will have to try different sets out. Was curious if we keep the duster under a flat heavy book or something, will it straighten out after some time?

I think steam would be better. A heavy book will leave creases on the sides of the coat and sleeves.

Omega, I tried man I really did, but I couldn't get into it. Movie just felt too "fun" for me, plus I guess I'm impartial to the fact that those people really existed, and aside from the O.K Corral; that whole Doc Ringo thing, it didn't go down like that!
