I'm really looking forward to seeing the guns, and that standard trigger hand would be great for the tapping the gun with his finger pose.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I know Rainman is now away to Hong Kong for 5 days. He did say the sculpt and hat was with the casting company whilst he is away.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Rainman told me some time ago that J.C Hong phoned him just to say hi. Who knows...

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Yeah I knew he was friends with J.C but he also told me sometime ago that he would never want to work for the big boys. I would be devastated if we lost rainman to HT or Enterbay.

Yeah, he doesn't want to work with HT at all. I prefer to see him doing his own stuff, more passion for the art than just releasing commercial stuff.

In a way though, it would be exposing his art to more people, which would seem to be good. But if it meant only one or two components of his art (say, sculpt and paint oversight) at the expense of the whole package (including tailoring and hand painting), so I can see where that would be a loss. Biggest loss from my perspective would be that he wouldn't be able to do all these wacky, unlicensed characters that we're all able to come up with and harass him about :D

I know that others feel differently, but I would be pleased as punch if Rainman's works were produced in larger numbers for less cost at the same level of quality that more people could enjoy (because frankly, lots of folks out there would like to buy his stuff, but just can't afford it). The rarity issue plays no real role in my interest in what he produces.
