Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I can't wait to see everyone's Doc figure on this thread. I won't be able to see mine until after my move to Italy in May :impatient: . I had mine shipped to my parents in Miami. Once I settle down in my new home I'll start working on my display case and have my collection shipped over. Then I'll bust out the Nikon :yess:

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

I don't think it matters at all which number it is we all feel the same. You can't beat the feeling of coming home from work to be greated by a Rainman piece
Or in my case, it is coming home from work to a notice that I have to pick the package up at the post office at a later date :lol

Those packages always require signatures, and I'm never home to sign for them.

Yup. I love seeing that "Quantum" email, because it means I get to go home, get the shipping number, sign onto UPS to tell them to hold it, then go to the center and wait forever, since the UPS center here is an absolute hell hole.

Yeah, at least these come to me USPS, which is much easier for me to deal with. I hate having to pick up UPS from their center, but even worse, they'll often drop things off without signatures even when they are supposed to have them. It is a pain picking something up, but better than having a $500 figure sitting on my doorstep all day.

This will be my 4th Rainman piece. I've got Bill, full set Dude, another outfit/head Dude set :lol , the Marty set, and now this. I am a huge fan of Rainman's works, for sure, but didn't get into it until the Dude, so I haven't had as much of an opportunity as some of the rest of you. I've only passed on the Clockwork Orange and Willy Wonka figures so far.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Being a collector doesn't depend on how much you buy or when you buy. It's having that passion for a hobby of enjoying each others collections and what creations are put out by amazing artists like rainman and other companies.

I'm never home when international packages come and the worst part is that normally you can't pick them up on the same day so you are stuck having to wait another day until I get out of work to pick the item up. When i get that notice for this ill be feeling like a kid on Christmas eve.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

This will be 5th Rainman piece. I have the GBU trio and Willy Wonka. If I could afford it, I would buy all of his creations. The western figures are definitely my favorite. I hope they keep coming!

Does rainman particularly like western films or that genre? Is that his favorite?

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

If possible Rainman, could you make the gun handles more 'off white' in colour.

Just slightly:

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

My gut feeling is that this late in the game changes won't be made. I could be wrong however.

Re: Rainmans New Project: Dr. Huckleberry

Potentially yes. Haven't seen rainman around at all lately so I take that as he is busy painting these up now. Just my hunch.
