Pop cult, pretty sure that's a brothers production outfit, now to fool you ya gotta admit that bp pit out a decent Anton,,',,

Ah I see that now. I was thinking "why the hell would anyone repaint these perfect accessories" :lol

It does look really great though. Easily BP's best figure

I'm just eating my lunch and watching youtube, and i find myself staring at this figure next to my monitor and feel obliged to post about it...this is such a stunning figure...

Thought I'd share this with the Anton Freaks. My boys down at the Bowery saw my Anton figure a few weeks ago and decided to bless me with this. I had seen this Tshirt before and asked about it. Apparently some punk band used it as an indie album cover.

No capes and spandex. In the real world it's "Plata o Plomo"

Excellent review Emarae:clap
Interesting what you said, I had not thought of it that way until you mentioned it but Anton was like a real world Terminator!

Hey JP! I know I've been a bit silent as of late and a bit out of it, but I try my best to keep up with things! I got spoiled big time not having to worry about ordering Anton, but with Vincent Vega, I'm still a bit on the fence with what to do and which set to get! Naturally I'd love the full set, but I'm "trying to be good" and budget better this year.
Anyways, hopefully I didn't mess up too many details in my video. I know you were key in getting lots of the details right, etc. Also, I kinda thought everyone thought of Anton as a "terminator" type character. LOL! I know he represents so much more, but I'm not gonna get into any film school 101 discussion here! LOL! Glad you enjoyed my vid! :hi5:

I think he's up LATE JP, not early :lol

Great vid Marlo! You always have some great pieces in the background too. Congrats again on the gold! You and Ray both took sick pics and both deserve to have the top two spots :hi5:

Wow, your up early! It's 7:00am here in NYC! :lol :duff:

Oops! I was up pretty late last night, but went to bed soon after posting that vid. I guess up early by your time! :lol

Yeah, like you said, I was up late! I'm more of a night person anyways pulling the graveyard shift at my job, but I was off and just watching a movie with the wife. She was the one up later than normal! But what can you do? You gotta squeeze in that quality time whenever you can! And thanks so much for the kind words! The contest was fun and I'm still feeling so damned lucky to even have placed in the top 3! Still trips me out..! :thud:

Watching NCFOM again but pieces at a time, and I must say that I am completely loving it more this time around.

I'm paying more attention to smaller details of the movie and it truly is a great film. It was a snooze of a movie for me the first time, but I think how I watch a movie is a lot different now then it was back then.

Truly a masterpiece of a movie

Yeah, this type of movie certainly requires multiple viewings, and like other cultish films or great films with layers, it only gets better with more views! The first time I liked it, but I was confused as hell with the ending and what it all meant! I thought maybe I missed something...! Saw it again and liked it even more, but was still scratching my head with the ending a bit. Saw it again, and I guess I started formulating my own meaning and conclusions as to what it all meant. But no matter what, you can't deny Anton as portrayed by Bardem!

The movie is so rich. In this way it's so similar to There Will Be Blood. It's not for no reason that they both made such a splash that year and won the awards that they did. Maybe the Oscars can sometimes be questionable but not with these two.

Anton is completely undeniable from the first viewing; but every conversation that TLJ engages in and all of his narration dialogue keeps getting richer and richer every time I watch it.
