Cheers guys, I did see two listed on ebay for around $3500.00 but as far as I can see they didn't sell. Are these the ones you're referring to or did these actually sell? I was admiring this figure again before, truly a work of art.

I don't know if it sold or not. I took my eye off it at some point and then it vanished...

killer a does sell in the $3,000-3,500 range... more than a few have traded hands at those numbers, killer a has really become a serious want for many guys...its said to be way up there as rainmans best...

Killer A and V1 Bill are without a doubt Rainmans best two figures

in my personal opinion I think Willy Wonka and Bill v1 were the best ones he ever made and with a honorable mention of Doc and Killer A.

I really wish I liked the head for wonka but I just couldn't see it. Never did. And I wanted a figure of him so bad. I've just never seen Gene Wilder in any of them so far.

I agree. The clothing has been nailed twice, but the sculpts still aren't quite there yet. The most recent attempt was closer to Wilder's likeness, but someone out there has a chance to hit the mark.

I've always put Bill V1 & V2 as tied for the top spot and Anton as a very close second, but regardless of how you feel about the movie, I think this Dracula release will be bumping the crown holders down a notch!

The only reason I was going to pick up Dracula is because its made by Rainman and I am a fan of his work, but I hated the movie. It was too campy and cheesy for ME. Maybe not for rest of you. And I said to myself it does not matter who made Dracula why would I want one in my collection if I didn't like the movie so at the end I chose not to get one. Hopefully his next release will be something I want!

P.S. the reason I said I thought Willy Wonka was one of his best work is because the whole set itself is very eye catching! The outfit, the accessories and that Oompa figure. I thought that was awesome. Maybe the head sculpt isn't 100% likeness of Gene Wilder, but the most recent sculpt wasn't even close either. Just that the whole set up is amazing to me.

jeah, same for me. I think it's important to get the figures or characters you really want to keep yourself happy with your collection.

That is the most important part of the hobby! To keep figures of characters and movies you like! There is no point buying something just cause a "certain someone" made it. Especially at this price range.

I don't love the movie but I can't hate it either, despite how bad it is at times . It's always been a mediocre movie in my book and I don't at all detest it as many seemingly do here.

Like I said in the Drac thread, it is however a purchase that I made with very opposite thinking to my usual motivation. I normally would way sooner chase a figure of a character that I love that didn't turn out as well as I would've liked, than go for a perfect example of a character that I don't have a strong connection with. But in this rare case I bought it because I love both pieces as well as the DX bust. Like I also mentioned in that thread, I would've never thought in 100 years I'd pass on a Karras figure only to go full boat on a double DX Oldman Dracula set... but that's the way the chips fell and I'm confident in both decisions

Doc was another rare similar case like this but I never ended up pulling the trigger on any of the many chances I had to snag him. Tombstone is also just an ok movie in my book but I was always drawn to RM's Doc fig. I really don't need to represent that movie in my collection, but always sort of wanted to own that piece just because I was drawn to it. I will say I do like Kilmer's Doc as a character better than Oldman's Dracula.

My Anton is STILL not put together after all these years , got the head n clothing set way back when on day one but never got round to getting the figure put together. Can some peeps who have him displayed post a few fresh pics to maybe motivate me to get Anton in the collection finally.
