In my opinion, in an auction setting I see it going for 2500-3500 regardless of the other two sales. Those two have them. It is all about timing when selling or buying.

That's the exact range this has been in for a while until those two big sales. I lost an auction because I tapped out at $2300 (which was my limit for this particular piece) and it went a little higher

As far as I know there is only one 6k sale on record and Greeny described the circumstances of that particular exchange accurately because it was unique and very well documented. Is there proper proof of another big sale to validate some standard going price?

I heard word of another sale at 5k but it has not been confirmed so take it with a pinch of salt. The 6k sale was indeed a 'special' circumstance so perhaps as many are saying shouldn't be taken as the norm. I believe another DX set has just sold also (I know what the asking price was don't know what the final selling price is) there is that one to consider also. The original asking price was in the region of the aforementioned 5k. It's all about demand tbh whatever somebody is willing to pay at any given time has a huge baring on market value, if you can get away asking a higher price more power to you. Personally I see this piece as being worth approx 4k but that's purely my opinion nothing more.

Geez Stiff is there anything u can't get? First I was blown away when u got your hands on two Beto Myers figures but this takes the cake.

Anyway, congrats on owning this piece, this is a very sort after item and I am surprized u got one let alone the full set one with the Oompa Loompa. I just want to ask u one thing and that is why do u have two Wonka sculpts? Did that other Wonka sculpt without the hat on the stand come with the set or did u already have it?

The other head came separate. I really like both looks with and without his hat on. This way I can kinda have both lol
