The temptation is there but I'm really on the fence with this one. I would jump on the Pazuzu head if it was sold separately, even though I'm not a fan of "demon" across the base. I think it would've been cooler if it were plain

What's putting you off the rest of it? The Karras likeness itself, lack of worthwhile extras, or just that you don't feel it's necessary to compliment Regan?

I love the look of the demon head but I've got no idea how I would display it with the rest of the stuff. If it stood taller, to give the illusion of the head being suspended in mid-air, then I'd probably have gone all in without hesitation. As it is, I've just gone for Karras (and will maybe try and commission a Merrin somewhere down the line).

Its not been - he,s mistaken for the VIP that went live then went to Sold Out -

on the other hand im still up in the air on this, thinkin of canceling my order, not feeling the sculpt at all -

Are the painted heads sold out?, or were they ever for sale in the first place? Seems like a painted head and a knock off priest outfit is what I might be looking at after the 2200+ investment on Reagan.

Heads painted by Aeon were up for order, but I don't know if they still are. Kind of a toss up between whether they looked more like Karras or a crackhead Captain Scarlet though.

Do you think I made a mistake of ordering extra for Aeon to paint my head sculpt of Karras? I ordered a H&C, I wish I could get a Full Set, but oh well...seem like nobody's a fan of Aeon? The reason I went with her to paint it cause it is a pain in the a** to receive a blank sculpt then send it off to a painter and wait for months to get it back.

Hey, if you're getting the head and clothes then, for convenience, it makes perfect sense to order it painted.

I was maybe overly harsh earlier when poking fun at her paint job. They really weren't the most flattering pictures up on RM's site and I'm sure it'll look better when teamed with the Priest vestments, rather than just stood there all decapitated. The heads I got from the last restock were all painted by her to a satisfactory standard.

I picked up an extra Karras head myself by the way, so it's not like I thought it looked shoddy enough to scare me off or anything.

I Dont Think you have anything to worry about with Aeons Paint, she,s come on heaps as late you will be satisfied for sure,

understand where u coming from gettin an unpainted then sending it to a painter, plus all top painters are uselly fully booked so u would never no when u would get it completed..

I was surprised this wasn't a part of the accessories for the Karras set. It is a MUST to have for sure.

Now I feel better. Am really excited about this figure. Have always liked the character of Karras in the Excorist movie.

Aeon does terrific work. I've had several sculpts painted by her, and the only ones where I was disappointed were the Bickle sculpts with the huge eyes. She might not give you work as refined as Rainman's, but it's still top notch.
