There's this website called moviejacket.com that specializes on movie costumes, and they have a thread on fight club.

Members there have the real 1:1 costumes. So I'm guessing if references are needed, that's one of the place we can try.

Hi all,

As you may know, Rainman is a modest person...
He hangs on your lips.

First, he will repaint the eyes.
And second, he will be looking for fabrics for the shirts and pants again.

He said that it takes 2~3 days to modify.
So, the pre-order will be delayed to 3~4 days later.

I'll let you know more detail early next week.

Actually I think the PO could start on the 15th as scheduled. Despite of having no pics of the modification yet.

I have faith that rainman will knock this one out of the park and give us that 'masterpiece' quality that he has made so far.

As long as he said he'll give us an accurate costume, I'm going to preorder this!

not so fast, bub. I for one want to see refined proto pics first.

1) change jacket buttons from black to red
2) new pants
3) new shirt pattern
4) repaint eyes, lessen the pink

and you've got an A+ home run!


oh.. and 5) sunglasses.

Looks great, can't wait to see the final version, I think an IOU on sunglasses for whenever they are available would be sufficient.

I'm ok with no sunglasses included as these costume fixes are much more important.


Though it would be nice if the sunglasses were later offered for sale separately.

Btw, just occured to me that are gonna get the bunny slippers with the secret item bath robe?

Cause it'll look weird, paired with those loafers

At last, he finished the clothing set for the Fighter 1999...
And he also showed the secret bonus item for the limited full set edition, too.

HA! I knew it. Looks ike I'm back in for the ltd set!! AWESOME stuff!

Being REALLY picky, but the robe should be more lilac and less baby blue.

I really don't like the haircut. And the color seems to be wrong. I hope he will paint the eyes with more intensity in them.

It's a really good figures but It's not perfect. The headsculpt could be better.
And For me the sunglasses are also important that the red jacket

Amazing news Zuno, I figured Rainman would revisit a few things, after his decision to to so with Tuco it turned out to be one of the the most impressive things ive ever seen, and i realize im talking about a toy, but of course it's art.

Remember our feedback comes with full understanding and acceptance that Rainman is already a miracle worker. We know that thats why we've been hard, with him it seems anything is possible. Best in the custom biz no doubt.

Eww. I do not like that photoshop at all. Looks like he's had a seizure or something. Does nothing to correct the original problem and only adds more, imo.

I think the paint on the hair is good in that ps pic, that's about it.

Great to see time will be taken for accuracy's sake on the shirt

Unfortunately, the jacket covers the shirts in all the hi res pics I've found.
but this is still a nice one no one has put up yet

Just noticed, and it's not a big deal, but you can see in the pic Tyler's "eye" ring is orange not yellow.
