I really hope that isn't true. Does he want to put Rambo in a romantic-comedy? Drama? That's just stupid. I don't want to see rambo in another genre than action-violence...

I'm torn over the whole thing. On the one hand, RAMBO had the absolute perfect ending to the series and I'd hate to see that not be the close of it all. On the other hand, I love Rambo movies and wouldn't turn down seeing more from him. Whatever happens, I trust Sly, he's proven himself with Rocky Balboa and RAMBO to know his main characters very well and how to do a story that does them right, so if a Rambo 5 does come to be, I'm sure it'll be good. Stallone recognizes Rocky 5 ending that series poorly, if he feels Rambo 5 could take that series down the wrong path, he might just kill the project.

You make valid points Maulfan. I think that Balboa made up for Rocky 5 and brought conclusion to the Rocky Franchise. Balboa was, IMHO, a very good film, it ws entertaining and reminded a bit of the original Rocky.
