Yeah that too, I think this piece is alot better than these pics make it out to be. Maybe its one of those "looks better in hand" situations.

I think for starters he needs to be a lot dirtier , the litte bit of dirt at the bottom of his pants is almost like a teaser of how awesome the whole thing could look.
Better paint apps , maybe changing the sculpt a little and adding more detail the base would also help imo.
I hope they do change a few things , I'd like to get this one but at the moment for me personally it has to be quality over quantity due to space problems.

I'm happy with how clean he looks, maybe the pants could have more weathering, but I don't want it on the body, other than custom paint jobs, dirtying of skin rarely looks right out of production. As it is, this thing should come out of production pretty spot on to how it looks now.

I like the pose. I think the problem is his head is tilted. Straighten that out and i think it could even improve the look of the sculpt

far out the more i look at the base the less i am liking it
and yes i think the machine gun looks kind of small and thin
needs more dirt on the pants.... maybe some gloss on the body to simulate the sweat...
something seems to be missing, i cant put my finger on it yet.
i really wish Trevor did this sculpt, have been waiting so long for a Rambo PF, Hot toys make this PF look very mediocre..
but i still have to have it nonetheless....damn impulses..

stallone is somehow too clean on the body a little more dirt would have done him better... i know that he is cleaner in that scene from the Movie... but we can not have everything

Preordered the regular one. I don't need a necklace. I'm not really digging this to be honest but ordered it anyway. I'm sure it will grow on me like the T-800 did.

Why Pre-order the regular when the exclusive was the same price?
Secondly if your getting the regular, why not just buy it locally?

On the fence, I'm not liking the grunt on the face and the veins are not looking real to me... ugh

thats up to them. People complained about the T-800 but nothing happened but other statues have been improved.

Well just in case I preordered it. I mean at first impression I didn't like it and now I do so .............. As for the exclusive, it was already sold out so I missed out. I wouldn't need the exclusive is all I was saying. I wonder if it will be serial numbered though.

Im pretty sure your right, this will be produced as is, I asked a question a while ago on SS Q&A about if they change sculpts etc before production based on customer feedback and they pretty much said no changes to sculpts or poses, the only things they tweak can be colors or materials of clothing. Usually i think they just mess with the clothing on these things and re-take the photos like they did with Dooku, Indy, T800, Aragorn etc, but with Rambo seeing that the only clothing he has is his pants, i dont think much will be happening........

Well, fully upright, a Stallone PF would be about 17.5", now add his slouching, probably down to around 16.5 pluse the base.

I also think the head is far too big for the body.
It's not looking like one of Sideshow's best at the moment.
There's lots of room for improvement, but seeing as it's sold out already will they?
