^ Agreed that the movie was better off without them, but it just kills Cameron's whole 'final ending' thing he has for all his sequels, imho. Like how T3 ruined the whole final story ending of T2, just not as bad for Alien 3.
As good as the movie was, randomly killing people quickly and the Doggy's 'POV' pretty much sucked. I think the creature would've been better off keeping with the first two, in how they move, swiftly yet slowly, in the darkness.
Not commending Resurrection though, that one just felt better overall, regardless of how 'overboard' the story seemed to be.
