The Yutani part at the end was a very nice surprise. I think we can expect more in the not to distant future. AVP:R is a great movie, despite what some beer can crushing morons say. :lol

Empty beer cans make the most noise. :lol I like the Predalien, because it expands on the storyline of the Alien species taking on elements of the original host, even to the point of taking on the Predators propensity for ripping the spines out of their victims.

Final report of the commercial starship Nostromo, third officer reporting. The other members of the crew, Kane, Lambert, Parker, Brett, Ash and Captain Dallas, are dead. Cargo and ship destroyed. I should reach the frontier in about six weeks. With a little luck, the network will pick me up. This is Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo, signing off.

I liked the way they replayed that at the end of alien3. Nice bookend of the series till alien resurrection came into being.

To me, the perfect version of Alien 3 would be the assembly cut with remastered and cleaned sound, but with the Chestburster scene at the very end. The experience would then be complete. :rock

Great film.

Yeah, the lack of queen burster shocked me at the end of the D.C. since I had been waiting a few years to watch it for the first time when the blus came out. Otherwise, all the other changes were superb and I greatly appreciate this newer different vision of A3.

I thought the chestbursting was always a bit cruel on Ripley actually. That she wasn't even spared that pain before she died.

Completely agree. I can't believe they didn't put that in the special version, pisses me off.
It would have been perfect :monkey2

Everytime I watch Alien 3 I forget how amazing and powerful it is, just such a great movie..

I'm a diehard Alien/Predator fanboy and getting through AVP:R was a tough experience. First of all, it was Dawson's Creek meets Sci-Fi which didn't work. Second...you couldn't see anything!!! Third, the Alien designs were putrid and the Predalien looked too much like a Predator instead of an Alien. The Alien takes on SOME characteristics, not all. The Dog Alien didn't bark or wag his tail you know. Wolf was the only good part from Requiem. Now, to get off my soapbox and answer the question...which...is...Dog Alien all the way. Always loved that design and the way he moved.

Yeah, I get what you're saying.

Although the movie was complete ____, I actually enjoy the atmosphere and characters. Except Sherif Eddie, or whatever his name was. That guy was just so unlikeable.
