Would like a better representation of the Jockey in my collection than the Palisades, especially if SS takes a whack at it.

Idunno dude, maybe not 1:1, or fossilized.... But with Prometheus coming out next year, I'd be surprised if we didn't atleast see a Legendary Scale Jockey Bust..

You're probably not ever going to get a 1:6 Queen from SS though..

I will not argue with that. I'm absolutely psyched for Premetheus, like uber-crazed about it... but yeah, we'll be getting representations from it for sure.

BUT 1:1 vs 1:6 Queen figure, that's all I was saying. You'll get a head on a stand, for certain. You'll have a 1/4 statue, too probably.
Anyway, you're right if you're arguing that SS alone would never even attempt a 1/6 POSEABLE Queen figure. It wouldn't make a lick of sense.
The only thing they could really do to help HOT TOYS out would be produce sturdy, quality legs (w/out articulation). & NECA's only hope would be if we declare them gods for the work they're continuing to do on our beautiful beasts. The Runner and Queen will determine NECA's future with the ALIEN license collectibles.

OH, I've delt with so much dissappointment in my life already, I'll just be unreasonably patient.
There are actually much more important things that I get my hopes smashed to the ground about anyway. This is not biggy...

C'mon, SS HT NECA people... give a grouchy young man a piece of poseable art that will be a testament to dreams-come-true. Or whatever...

Actually this Queen probably took several days to make.. I know this b/c i am a welder by trade and i know how long it would probably take to find, fabricate, modify, weld and prep all those pieces to even begin to resemble anything.

That being said, you would think that i would appreciate this replica even more right? Well, I do appreciate the time and effort the artist spent on this rendition of her majesty but, I'm still undecided whether i actually like it or not. Just my humble opinion is all. Nothing more nothing less.
