And a Happy 25th ALIENS! :clap The fact that this film is still greatly admired by people that weren't even born when it was released is a testament to it's brilliance. ALIENS has cemented it's place in SCI-FI history as one of the greatest, and I'm sure it will continue to entertain and thrill many generations to come. It's going to be a fun night tonight! :yess:

:fireworks Happy Belated Birthday ALIENS! :fireworks

Original "Alien" by far for me. "Aliens" was awesome when it came out. I've seen it countless times, but it's kind of lost its luster over time. I watched the blu-ray about a month ago and the way the characters act seems really forced now - not authentic like when I saw it way back when. The original - on the other hand - hasn't lost any of it's creepiness, edginess, and authentic feel.

She's the Mother of our favorite ALIEN. :monkey1 I don't know about difficult to sculpt, but it would be HUGE beast in 1/6.

At this rate we might* get one. We'll see. It's all about the mixed media, and SS and HT may be able to work together on that.

It's really just about making the legs from very different materials from the body. Also, expensive... but $350 - $500 isn't unheard of for a statue or bust, either...
Either way, we gotta' get more 1/6 ALIENS from them, and they know it. They've redone the Pred bodies, the Aliens are next or someone's head's gonna' roll

My dream collectible would be a 1:1 Fossilized Jockey bust from Alien...

How incredible would that be?

I would like the original Nostromo prop, which has been restored to it's full glory. While it is not a creature, and I will admit an undeniable obsession with the Jockey myself, that ship was a work of art, and I daresay the most beautifully crafted space faring ship to ever grace the silver screen. Yes, I like it even more than the Millenium Falcon!

I actually don't think the Millenium Falcon is that pretty of a ship. It's neat and I like the asymmetry of it, but... There is a lot of asymmetrical artwork from Giger and other artists in the Alien films.

Their are a couple of very pleasant looking ships in the ALIEN mythos... They've always been artsy sci-fi films, despite their grittiness.

& A 1:1 Space Jockey? That's even more to ask for than a poseable 1/6 Alien QUEEN... which I would give my ALIEN DVD collection up for. I don't believe there's an individual on these boards who wants a 6th-scale Queen more than I

Idunno dude, maybe not 1:1, or fossilized.... But with Prometheus coming out next year, I'd be surprised if we didn't atleast see a Legendary Scale Jockey Bust..

You're probably not ever going to get a 1:6 Queen from SS though..
