Agreed! We all argue and debate about which design is best but at the end of the day...the worst xeno design is better than 99% of everything else in sci-fi. :yess:

Going to watch ALIEN and Apollo 18 today. We'll see how Apollo 18 goes! ^_^

No point for guessing which one you'll like more, but Apollo 18 kept me watching, that's pretty rare for anything made over the past few years. I'll have to watch it again, because I'm still not sure what's going on at the end. :lol:horror

Can you flow me some Apollo 18? Sounds interesting...

That's pretty awesome. I've gotta make something like that for myself one day.

Even if ALIENS and Alien 3 are awesome, the best one is the Original "Alien" by far for me !

Yes, well Alien is my favorite film of all time! :D

Watched both Alien and Aliens today, mostly in the background as I worked on a huge school project. But, something new struck me for the first time in 25 years of watching Aliens (1986).

Why were there no "artificial persons" on LV-426 with the colonists. Seems like a high cost project going on there that would benefit from the inclusion of them. Even if the colonists didn't know that there were any androids in the population. If there were some there, it would seem that we would have seen at least body parts of them lying around, unused by the xenomorphs for embryo implantation. But then, almost all of the implanted personal trackers were located in that one place under the cooling system, so. I would think there were no androids there at all.

Just something that struck me... :dunno

Aliens for me.

That was the first alien movie I watched as a kid (didn't see the first).
Loved the whole USCM theme.

Needless to say, I hated aliens 3 when they killed of corporal Dwayne hicks...and blocked it out of my mind mentally. I just rely on the comics for post Aliens stuff.

I am the same way, once they killed of Corporal Hicks, I completely blocked out Alien 3. To me, the comics are the true sequels. Hicks is easily one of the most underrated heroes in movie cinema. He was level headed, caring, sharp, the list can go on, on his qualities. He just wasn't the stereotypical 1980's steroided action hero who protected the helpless female.
