Transformers Dark of the Moon (Ending) - 4/10

Caught the ending of this. Had copious amounts of slow motion walking, pretty people, a model (actress?) walking without realizing there's explosions going on directly behind her. Military baddass mofos shouting and swearing. Was pretty easy to recognized the villain as he was the one making hammy evil speeches to himself as there was no one around. Robot action was pretty good but kept being interprupted by humans. Some of the robots were cringeworthy, there was a Jonny-5 guy with an Einstein looking bot, an "old robot" with grey hair and an english accent and a giant tapeworm looking one :lol :cuckoo:

And then Optimus allowed the destruction of his own planet and race :slap

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - 9/10

Cool movie but the Matrix stuff is getting a little annoying.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

It was a big mistake replacing Rachel McAdams with Noomi Rapace in Sherlock Holmes: GoS. Irene Adler was a much better leading lady.

Wreck it Ralph - 9/10 - As an 80's arcade nut I loved this movie. I feel sorry for people who need to pause and look for easter eggs because this movie will eat your life.

Stardust - 7/10 - Cute movie and my young girls really liked it. Another Niel Gaiman modern fairy tale. It had a bit of Princess Bride humor.

I watched this yesterday and would score it the same. I really enjoyed it. :rock

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

According to what Moriarty said she died, but it was less certain in the earlier scene. They could easily bring her back.

I thought he said she just came down with a sudden case of TB (after he poisoned her). But I guess that did = a death sentence in the 1800's. :lol

The Thing (2011) - 7.5/10

Quite enjoyed this. The effects were good, it was just too predicable and familiar to be scary though, and a shame that the story of the Norwegian outpost had American characters as the leads.

Like how it finished as The Thing (1982) began

If there is anyone who lives in Austin, TX and would like to go to the screening for Taxi Driver, let me know.
I'll buy you a ticket for an exchange for the free poster.

Life of Pi - 10/10

When I first saw the trailer, I remember thinking, 'looks pretty, but I don't think I'll enjoy this movie; it seems like it's trying to be too deep for its own good'. :slap

I still love how the colors fade in the very last shot, just like the colors in the fish when Pi killed it. Symbolic, yes, but how exactly?
