No. Transformers is something else. I am allowed to feel differently for different films. Shocking. I ****ing know

Iron Man 3: As of right now, I just don't know.

I gotta see it again. It felt... IDK I just can't. I will give it a full review when I see it again.

3D was forgetable.

I don't understand how you went in "expecting a Shane Black movie" then, when he hasn't really gotten an "established" directing style...

Elaborate plz.

He's been a writer for years. He has a very specific kind of writing style. You can see all the little touches he puts into his films.

Watch Lethal Weapon, The Last Boyscout, and maybe a bit of Last Action Hero (even though they took the script away from him and jerked it around...), and finally, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and you'll see how close Iron Man 3 feels to those films.

Also, having one film on your belt (or I should say one studio film) on your belt doesn't mean you can't have a established style. Neil Blomkamp's style oozes all over the Elysium trailer. So.

Seriously. There was more 3D in the previews and the little title screen that tells you to put them on then in IM3! :lol

Chernobyl Diaries - FML/10

Horrible movie. I'd rather eat radioactive material than watch that crapfest again.

I never saw IM3 in 3D. Thank the Lord Al' Mighty!

Now IM3 - Eh... it was okay. Just okay.

And yeah, Chernobyl Diaries sucks the big ****.

Yeah, I knew that. But Directors and writers are two different things. Yeah, the writer establishes (sort of) the character tone in the films, but after all said and done the director could go back and change anything in the script they want. (Most of the time).

I also don't get the notion of "it's a Shane Black movie! Of course it's around Christmas!". Lol WUT?

Star Trek 2009

9/10

Watched this last night.

8.5/10

The "green screen" before the 3D trailers was better than any of the 3D in it as well. :lol

That being said just got back from a 2D showing.

Let me start by saying if you have only seen this movie once and came out feeling conflicted. SEE IT AGAIN.

I absolutely had a blast with it this time around. Killian was a kick *** villain and Trevor was and now is the highlight of this movie for me. The action, dialogue, almost everything I really liked.

Better then the second IM, up there with the first.

The "twist" wasn't as important to me this time around because I already knew it was going to happen. Sure, I would still love to had seen the Mandarin be a real bad guy, but it didn't bother me that much this time around. I still think Marvel has something up their sleeves with this character (and Red Skull) for the next avengers flick.

Extremis doesn't bother me, didn't the first time around, I actually thought it was pretty cool to see something else then have somebody trying to steal Stark's tech.

Great movie, wish it would have taken some different choices, but I can't change that. If you just go in and roll with it, I think you'll enjoy it. Fanboy or not

Iron Man 3: (Second viewing) 8.75/10

Iron Man 3 Trailers: Misleading as ****, and make you depressed after you see it the first time.

What do you mean "LOL WUT"? He writes movies that take place during Christmas. That's a fact. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, his first directed film, takes place during Christmas. Lethal Weapon, takes place during Christmas. So is The Long Kiss Goodnight...
