3 Extremes: 8/10 love how so much asian horror relies on ****ed up situations moreso than boo-scares...
The Strangers: 7/10 way better than I expected

Yeah The Strangers gets little recognition. The film had authentic suspense. Something most modern day horror lacks.

r.i.p.d.

I'll give it a 6.5 / 10

... And this is Why ... Kevin Bacon. I liked him in this Film. Sure he's a Backstabbing Douche , with a Hidden Agenda ... but I didn't even know he was in the Movie from any Preview I saw ..., and I thought it was Great.

Horror Express - 6.5/10

Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and Telly Savalas! Fun 70s horror movie worth seeing for Savalas' performance alone.

House of Usher - 7.5/10

Classic Corman.

Well the last movie I watched was The Impossible. I can't give it a rating because I had to stop watching it after about a half hour because I was too emotionally drained. I kid you not.

This goes on a list with Sophie's Choice for "Movies I need to finish but need to wait until I'm already extremely upset about something else so I can sit through it without ruining my whole day."

Kind of like The Road? :monkey1

Enough Said 9/10

What a real gem of a movie. Great story and dialogue, superb acting by everyone. I laughed, I was a little teary at moments...just a sweet, lovely movie. James Gandolfini was so perfect in this role and Julia Louis Dreyfus really surprised me with her heartfelt performance.

Probably not a typical movie for you guys - but for those of you who are married - it would be a great film to take the wife too and you probably will enjoy it too. :)
