I've never seen a movie run the spectrum of being so boring to so completely and totally over the top and nonsensical. It's like they made the first half for adults and the second soley for kids under 10. Beautiful cinematography though.

I have to completely agree with Deckard's scoring of The Hobbit.

The first hour was just sleep inducing twoddle and the rest was overindulgent cgi and not in a good way.
