Argo - Awesome movie and great performances by cast - 10/10
Oblivion - Boring movie - 2/10

Riddick 6/10 I would have thought they could have come up with a better story than a man and his dog. The bounty hunter thing has been done but I didn't mind that part of the story. I'm just saying this is one of the best characters out there and they could have come up with a better story.

Escape Plan 7/10 I enjoyed this one a lot. Thought Arnie was great in it. Stallone is the man. It had some pretty cool scenes.

Terminator 10/10 Love the 80's flair

Terminator 2 10/10 My favorite of the quad.

Terminator 3 7/10 Wasn't terrible, it tried to remain faithful to the lore and that's very much appreciated, plus the ending was perfect.

Charlie Countryman 5/10

I'm still not sure how I feel about this completely. It had some heavily resonant moments for me, especially early on, but it was the weirdest Romanian romcom action thriller I've ever seen. :rotfl
Can't say I hate it, but until I figure it out entirely, I didn't love it. Ron Weasley, who wants to be a porn star, also blows his load in his pants after downing 6 Romanian Viagra, then gets superglued to a chum because of it. So there is some gripping content going on there. :D
It felt fairly forced and unrealistic overall throughout.

Killing Season 1/10

I hated this so much. As soon as Revolta opened his mouth...*shudders* Christ. He was bad enough trying to speak his 10 words in Serbian, but his accented English was damn near offensive to actors the world over. Beyond that, it was a horrible metaphor for war, blame and responsibility, bashing you over the head with its intent. The violence was not at all necessary - and I do love me some graphic violence - rather than being a gratuitous distraction from how bad the story was.

I've always liked Terminator 3. I think it ets a bad rap quite unfairly. To expect it to surpass T2, one of the greatest movies ever made, is unfair. What it does do successfully is add to the Terminator story without going too far and, like you said, has an excellent ending.

Oldboy (Spike Lee version) 4/10. Having seen the original this movie never really had a chance. It had too much to live up to. I like Josh Brolin but his performance was bad.

Watched this at the weekend also. I would give it an 8/10. Really enjoyed it. Has one of those good yet frustrating endings.

I liked it a lot. The actors were fantastic. Story was good.

But what slightly put me off was, a) one too many riddles to solve at the end (e.g.: Why were there snakes in the trunks, who the hell was Bob Taylor + the fact that David Dastmalchian only acts crazy in movies :lol) and, b) Detective Loki didn't seems to be much of a detective, maybe I was expecting 'Batman', but he came across very slow in uncovering stuff.

I think this point was to illustrate how the restrictions and boundaries placed on the police to ensure that they are operating within legal means can sometimes be a hinderance to achieving justice and uncovering the truth. The only way hugh Jackman got anywhere was by pursuing his own form of justice in a less than conventional way. You could see how Loki was getting frustrated with the restrictions placed on him by his boss.

That makes sense. The frustration as an audience was quite high, imagine people in the line of duty working with their hands tied.

I'm always staggered when someone hasn't seen They Live. Especially because alot of people can probably quote it without having seen it and not even realise it. :lol Duke Nukem gets too much credit.

They Live - 8.5 / 10

Great film. I was actually impressed with Roddy Piper's performance too for the most part - & the alley fight!!! :rotfl

Obey...... :lecture

Glad you enjoyed it! :clap

Duke Nukem is a *****. He's nothing but clotted sperm residue from Nada and Ash.

Pretty much yeah, I'd go as far as to give it an 8/10, it's really not a bad movie, what I like is that the villains in the franchise are always fresh, and that bathroom fight scene was both funny and badass.

The writing and acting aren't bad at all either.

I could easily pretend TS doesn't exist thought :lol
