Agreed. Incredible soundtrack.. I loved the Coben novel a bit more than the film, but it was nicely adapted. It was interesting seeing one of my favorite books being played out in French. One of the smartest thrillers I have ever read and watched.

What brings down Watchmen, for me, is two things:

1. Really should've been a miniseries...you just can't fit it all in and make it flow in such a brief period of time...though when they have the "Ultimate" edition with Tales of the Black Freighter it may work better...

2. Malin Ackerman is, hands down, the WORST actress I've ever seen. How she keeps getting jobs is beyond me. Sure, she LOOKS the part, but she sure can't act it (case in point - the scene with multiple Manhattans, where she says "Jon, what are you doing?" Worst line delivery I've EVER seen.

If it weren't for those two (admittedly BIG things) it would rank a 10 in my book...as it is now, around a 7.5.

I think she hardly looks like comic Silk Spectre.

Dragonball Evolution - 7/10

Not too bad for a live-action, westernized take on a series that doesn't really lend itself to being live-action. I thought it captured the spirit of the anime nicely. The high school scenes at the beginning are strangely out of place though. It's almost like they were edited in from a different film, but they're thankfully brief.

The Hangover, 8-10, amazing this type of movie usually falls to pieces after 40 mins but it went well!
Role Models 6.5-10 again another surprise, no masterpiece but better then expected

Bram Stoker's Dracula: 9.5/10 (Half point docked for Keanu Reeves' horrible English accent.)

Cats Don't Dance: 8/10 (Really underrated 90s animated film.)

Die Hard: 10/10 (Perfect action movie.)

John Carpenter's The Fog: 6/10

The Haunting in Connecticut: 4/10 (I hate it when movies claim to be based on true stories when they aren't.)

I watched a grand total of 4 minutes from that movie. I regret what I saw.

True Blood 1st season: Well my wife forced me to watch the entire first season with her and I have to say I have no idea why this has such a fan following. The idea is really cool, but I don't know, it's just missing something to me. The only way these vampires could be any lamer is if they sparkled in the light. 4/10

It;s an interesting take in my eyes. I just feel that Sookie is way too annoying and her way of being holier than thou is tired.

Heat[/B]: 8.7/10 Hadn't seen this in a long time. Great film!

This is coming to Blu soon, so I can't wait !

Planet of the Apes (the original) 9.5/10, even better than I remembered, haven't watced it for about 8 years.
