I wanted to like it, especially after hearing so much about how this series is so beloved. Bruce Campbell is great - he is, & as I said, some of the visuals & effects were cool too, but I just didn't like the film.

His style is unique and I really love what he does, even if its not that great.

I caught Evil Dead II for the first time tonight, after all these years.

4 / 10

I haven't seen the first one either, so I probably should've watched that first, but apparently the sequel recaps the events of the first well enough at the beginning to get up to speed anyway. Overall I thought EDII was pretty stupid to be honest. I liked the comic book vibe Raimi was going for, Ash as the reluctant hero, some of the cinematography & practical effects, but I just thought a lot of it was long winded & dumb. The humor didn't grab me either.

The end where it sets up things for 'Army Of Darkness' could've come from Monty Python.

I don't understand.

Too bad AOD becomes meh after getting the book..........

It does become a completely different movie after that. I hope this TV show is more in tune with EDII.

As funny as he was in Malcolm, I'm glad he got to play Walter White. Role of a lifetime.

A great war movie. With lots of cliches, but the action is so damn good!
