Kingsmen ....9/10. What a great movie. I saw the preview a long time ago, and thought it was going to be crap. I heard from several friends that it was good, and I'm glad that I decided to go see it. I have my fingers crossed that a sequel gets approved.

It looks like it might, after this weekend it will have already made its budget back. It did much better numbers than expected.

I just finished watching Guardians Of The Galaxy -- 7.8 / 10.

I think the best part for me, was the soundtrack. I don't know anything about the comic book, but it looked nice visually, & I liked Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana & Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket. I had no idea that Karen Gillan was in this either - huh. I know Thanos & (of) Ronin, but not extensively. It was fun, & funny.

Not bad.

Proceed with caution. This film probably won't satisfy the majority, but if you are willing to analyse a film afterwards, the pay off is pretty rewarding

Guardians of the Galaxy 7/10- It was fun. However, I thought a lot of the humor was forced, and needlessly put at times to alleviate tension that was never there. Then again, maybe the director made that as an intentional decision, because he was trying to parody other superhero movies. I also wasn't fond of how they connected the "Take My Hand" scenes and how the some of the action scenes felt "weightless." It wasn't bad like the first Spider-man movie though. Still, I liked nearly all the characters, especially Rocket and Groot. I hope the new Star Wars movie is as good as this!

I'd put it in my top 3 Marvel movies: 1. Spider-man 2 2. Iron Man 3. Guardians of the Galaxy

I just watched it the other day too (not that anyone would know that after my mini review getting completely buried..), & I guess I agree with some of your points. Again, the soundtrack was the best part for me.

Definitely NOT in my top 3 for Marvel movies either.
