Creep 2 - 8/10

These movies are as weird and hilarious as they are unsettling, and Mark Duplass is mesmerizing. It'd be a shame for this series to go unnoticed so if you haven't seen it or have passed it by for whatever reason, give it a chance.

I can't wait for the sequel, too.

Murder on the Orient Express - 8.5/10

The beginning was sluggish, but it really picks up. Thankfully I didn't get any spoilers beforehand.

JP The Lost World - 7.7/10 it's been a long time since I last saw this, Jeff is still the best.

Groundhog Day - 8.5/10

Always enjoyed it, even as a kid. But now I watch it and try to think of what he had to do to have every second of the town's happenings burned into his memory.

Terminator Salvation - 6.5/10

It's got some good ideas and there and broke up the Uncle Bob protector formula for a change. I'd say outside of T2, it's the better of the sequels out there.

Bale's Batman acting is incredibly cringe worthy, especially the "WHAT ARE YOU!?" line... which seems completely out of place after he just had a normal conversation with Marcus.

Oh and making Skynet a speaking entity was an incredible mistake. It's a cold calculating machine hellbent on extermination. It shouldn't have a ****ing personality.

Mindhunter (Netflix series): 6.5/10

Eh, wasn't crazy about it, and I LOVE Fincher. I appreciated its slow deliberate pace, love the dialogue, the subject matter and the tone. But overall I just thought it didn't really get anywhere. I was bothered by the lead guy's acting--it was pretty bad on the first episode but got a little better as the series went on. But something about his portrayal just didn't feel right to me. Also, his character was such an arrogant little piss ant. And I hated that they teased the ADT guy all through the series but never did anything with him--I suppose they're saving him for season 2? So sure, I'll watch season 2. If I had known they would end season 1 *SO* open ended I would have waited for season 2 and binged both together instead.

Liked Stranger Things 1 & 2 MUCH better.

Nooo! They sucked your brains out too... :monkey2

Would you like to hear more?

So what is that too high or too low for you? :lol

It has a ****** movie charm, and I don't hate it. I love it for the Verhoeven violence and propaganda. RedLetterMedia had a great take on it in their review.
