That's all bro? I thought drive was fantastic.

I thought it was a good movie but predictable.
Plus, he was a little too quiet/stiff/emotionless. He was very creepy actually. Not sure how that personality was able to win over the blonde. LOL!

I was hoping for more car chase scenes too. The one we got, where he was driving in reverse against the Chrysler, was awesome!

He was a quite psycho that kept it inside. See Brawl in Cell Block 99.

The last time I watched Platoon I seem to remember some things clicked with me that I had never understood on whatever my previous viewing had been - probably when I was way younger. And now I can't remember what those things were. I'll have to watch it again.

I only watched like a third of it this morning before I left for work. I left off when Barnes kills the civilian at the farm. God was he a hateable POS. Still, in my top five movie villains.

Platoon > Every Nam movie

Every now and then I dabble with the idea of buying back a Hot Toys Barnes. I'm sure it's still a great figure even by today's standards.

It certainly is. It's back when HT sculpts carried intensity and weren't painted up like the non union Mexican equivalent.

I think I remember your sales thread when I was toying with the idea of getting it.

I love I own it. I actually need to replace the helmet since the inner padding section is falling apart.

I bought a Marlboro packet for the helmet and I think I had bought a flak jacket aswell. Then there was a rain poncho I was looking at on ebay just to give him various extras that he used in the film but I think I'd resolved to sell him before I bought that.

I sold him because, of course, Hot Toys screwed us out of a complete set by not making Elias but who knows maybe I would have sold them anyway when I was trying to focus my collection. Still though, Barnes had such a great likeness that I occasionally feel tempted.

Taylor's likeness wasn't bad either. I loved interchanging between the fully geared up look to the more casual Tracks of my Tears scene.

I still have that Hot Toys head. I'll turn it into Gray Fox when the time comes. :wink1:

You gotta love how """""original""""" Brojima was when he robbed the likeness of every major male characer from 80s cinema from that game.

I thought about getting the Flak vest as well. I bought a Marboro pack... and the belt thing around the helmet snapped... I had to reglue it.

For sure. This was made evident when he bashed in the guy's head in the elevator.
But even way before that, his emotionless, creepy stare and minimal words was appealing to the blonde? I guess some chicks are into that. :dunno

Anyway, I'm not debating whether the movie was good. It rocked! A 7/10 from me is a good rating. I never give any movie a 10/10 just to give you an idea of how I rate films.

Spiderman homecoming :6/10
Not nearly as bad as a remember it being. It's a cute little spiderman vs vulture movie. The worst parts are the change in characters and awkward tonal moments. Peter being crushed by the building collapse was extremely violent and felt out of place. And then comparing that to the ferry literally sinking and then being put back together. Idk the movie was all over the place but I love watching spiderman kick butt

I was optimistic about it but found it a bit of a letdown. I'll watch it again at some point.

I still haven't seen ASM2 a second time - all I remember was going between bored and depressed.

Honestly find asm 2 to be an easier watch with some fast forwards haha. Awesome costume , insanely beautiful on 3d blu ray , and I love (while makes for a bad film) spider vs the various bad guys. But yes way too Long. In comparison though spiderman 3- homecoming all suck. In fact spiderman 3 is the best of the worst ( I know kill me )

Dark knight rises 8/10

So much to love , clearly Nolan wanted to make and end to a trilogy and he did it while tying everything together which is very impressive especially when considering how long ago begins came out.

One thing that stuck out to me this time was that we see the "child " make the climb with no injuries , so why would it make sense for that to be bane (when he was supposed to have injuries to his face)
