Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Body of Lies 7/10 It was interesting....but far from great which is too bad since it has Crowe and Dicaprio in it with Ridley directing.

Gonzo
(a documentary on Hunter S. Thompson) 8.5/10 Great documentary with a lot of home movies and audio recordings of Hunter from around the time he wrote Hell's Angels up through Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Some later footage as well with interviews with family and friends. If you are a fan of Thompson, it is worth checking out.

Loved Body of Lies - what prevented it from being great in your eyes?

Gonzo - was this directed by the same guy who did Enron - The Smartest guys in the room? That documentary was outstanding. I definitely enjoyed Fear and Loathing - will have to check this out.

Taken - 8.5/10
I enjoyed that movie quite a bit, particularly his single-mindedness regarding his care for his daughter, and his complete disinterest in everyone else, including the other exploited girls, etc. Hilarious. But, I can't understand
how Neeson was allowed to fly back into the U.S. after it was all over. Not only because he was in such deep dookey with the French government, but because he killed some anonymous "Sheik," which presumably would cause a pretty serious international incident. I guess he might have manufactured a fake ID/passport, but you would think they would have been looking for him at the airports. . .

Terminator: A-

I hadn't actually watched this movie all the way through in years, and it was much better (less cheesy) than I remembered. It was also cool in that it builds up some interest in T4. I'm really curious to see how they deal with the lead-up to T1, and some of the stuff referenced by Reese.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Cop Land 9.5/10 I saw this movie when it was released ages ago and saw it on dvd yesterday. Great performance by Stallone, you actually feel like crap when he gets his other ear shot out!

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I finally got around to watching The Mist last night, man that ending is brutal!!!! 9/10 by far my favorite Steven King movie in quite a while. I also got around to watching 30 days of Night and wished I hadn't lol 6/10.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Easily his best performance. I was shocked when I first saw the film.

yeah, i really cant remember my reaction the first time i watched but yes it is quite shocking and yes, one of his best performance indeed.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I'd have to go with "Rocky" as his all time best performance but thats just me.

yeah and his performance in Rocky Balboa. I still can't believe he didn't get some sort of nomination for that. When he is talking to Paulie in the factory and starts crying I looked at my sister and said "he's acting his ass off".
