But have you seen Big Fish? I am just curious, because you must be the only person I've met who doesn't like it.

Parts, when it was first released. Never cared to sit and see it fully. I'm telling you, watching his films is like pulling teeth with me. Not a fan at all.

The Patriot - 9/10

Kept putting off watching it, but found the perfect 'no plans' Saturday to watch it. Great acting by Mel Gibson. It's like an American version of Braveheart (it probably is, without the martyrdom at the end). Jason Isaacs is one of the most bad-ass antagonists ever! I'll put him up there with Mark Strong.

The Patriot - 9/10

This is exactly how I saw the movie. It seemed to me that, because the basic story was held almost completely intact and was just changed to fit continental America instead of medieval Scotland, it was intentionally done. The fact that it was a very good movie was the thing that kept me from feeling that I had been duped into watching the exact same movie twice.

No not better than Saving Private Ryan! That is the best WWII movie ever. The only reason why I said that because after the SVP and GR (which came in the late 90s ) there are no other WWII movie ( i.e. Pearl Harbor ) ever made.

Are you kidding me? There has been quite a bit. Yikes. Some people forget easily.

Rocky for robots. Nice "feel good" movie. Watched it with the family. They really enjoyed it and it was cute to watch my little girl cheer for Atom.

All of Zulawski's stuff is like that. The actors are like hyper-emotional and insane. But there's always gratuitous nudity so it's all good.

You should watch Szamanka. It's awesome!
