I don't think there's a thread like this for printed stuff, if there is, please point me in the right direction, I searched but didn't find anything, this should be fun, just go ahead and rate/review the last thing you read, it can be book, comic book, manga, art book, web comic, whatever, I'll start, this is some of the latest I've read in the last couple of weeks.

A Clash of Kings - 9/10

Adventures of Superman New 52? (as a whole) - 10/10 This is what Superman is all about, every single issue is a 10/10, top notch, I'm not prone to collecting individual issues, I usually trade them or sell them after 1 or 2 reads and get a specific trade later if I like a story arc, but I'm keeping every single issue of this one, I fell in love with it from issue #1, and dat #40 and #41, pure gold.

If you're one of those people who don't like Superman because you don't read anything of him, and you think he's "Overpowered" and has "no personality", you don't know what he's about and you should read these, if you still don't like him afterwards, then you're a ****** :lol

Well, this thread bombed :lol

Anyway, I just got all 11 issues of Glory... 9/10 such a shame it was cancelled, I hope it comes back in the future.

I read it under recommendation of Comicbookgirl19 and decided to buy the whole lot, it's amazing.

I'll start posting once I pick up my pull for the last two weeks. I have no new reading materials, at the moment.:lol

WE3 - 10/10 just got it, read it, loved it, I cried a little, do yourselves a favor and read this beautiful mini-series, only 3 issues, it's heart wrenching.

Morrison and Quitely make such a great team.

Dude totally agree, the Glory reboot was awesome!

If you haven't already, I would highly recommend checking out the prophet reboot too. It's even better IMO

The quality of Image books has gone up so dramatically over the years from those old 90's superhero crapfests haha

Thanks :duff I will read it, I've become super addicted to everything Image, I started reading Saga after everybody recommended it to me for like a year :lol and dear lord it's good.

Everything they do nowadays is praised left and right, have you read Jupiter's Legacy? Duuuuude.

:rock2 Hell yeah, Saga is great. I read the first two issues of Jupiters Legacy, and yeah it was awesome too. They just had such a huge delay releasing them I trailed off, will pick up the rest of the series and read the whole thing soon.

Also check out Hickmans East of West - another great unique series by Image

Yeah, Jupiter's comes out every time there's a new pope, it's frustrating.

Will add HEW to the list mate :rock

And the art, they have top notch fresh sophisticated artists there at Image, I was sooooo tired of ultra muscled cross hatched Jim Lee-esque art.

Totally bro - it's really not the same Image Comics of the old Jim Lee/Rob Leifeld days. I dont even find myself looking at the Marvel/DC stuff anymore, the Image & Dark Horse stuff satisfies so much more. They actually come up with fresh ideas instead of the exact same story rehashed over and over

Some Avatar books do the same, Uber is great, as was the red rover charlie mini series. That company REALLY pushes boundaries with their titles lol

Well, Marvel's not so bad lately, DC was getting a bit stagnated but they're revamping good, it seems, Romita Jr. run on Superman was fantastic.

But it's nice to see Image and co. stir things up a bit, but you're right, lately I do find more satisfaction in most of their titles than DC/Marvel's.

I just read the first trade. Interesting story! Looking forward to picking up the 2nd.

Not sure why they decided to go with such bland covers on the trades when there's so many cool images they could've used...

This Snyder story is really messing with my mind. I'm sure if I overall like what they are doing with The Joker but I am enjoying the actual story itself.

Batman #39 - 4/5

I have a love/hate thing with Snyder's Batman. I loved COO, but have loathed pretty much the rest of the run. However, this story has been pretty damn good so far. I just hope he can stick the landing which he definitely didn't do with DOTF. My only quibble with the issue was with
Alfred's hand being lopped off. I just don't see why it was necessary.
.

Yes this thread is aliiiive ALIIIIVE! :lol

Wtf 3 posts bout Endgame? I have to catch up with Batman comics, Court of Owls was fantastic but I stopped reading at Zero Year cause I had not the time.

It's alllliiiiive!

Just read Marvel's Darth Vader #2, wow what a great series so far. I didn't have much confidence in Marvel taking over Star Wars from Dark Horse, but I have to say I'm pretty impressed so far!

Yeah, they do the same on the individual issue covers. I think they do it to try and make them stand out more on the racks, though it might be working against the series. If the covers aren't interesting enough, not as many people are going to pick em up and flip through them at the shops. A shame, cause it is a really cool series.

Marvel :Spider-Gwen #1 4.5/5. This was a fun story, coming for an alternate universe.

Marvel: Ant-Man #2 4/5. This has become a second favorite of mine next to deadpool. This character, is such a typical guy. Such a fun read. And, there's a guy in a bear costume!

Marvel: Deadpool #42 4/5. Again, fun story.
