Marvel :Spider-Gwen #1 4.5/5. This was a fun story, coming for an alternate universe.

I'm actually glad to hear this. I loved Spider-Gwen in Spider-verse and was a bit worried about her getting her own book, if they could keep the charm. My comics don't ship until mid-month so I'm stuck another couple of weeks before I get my hands on it.

The Wicked + The Divine Vol 1 - 9/10

Cool concept, cool characters, fresh art, interesting story, if you enjoy gods or mythology, this one has a fresh twist on it.

Uncanny Avengers Omnibus - 3.5/5

Fun series, but I'm pretty underwhelmed that I need to buy another book to see how things end.

Geoff Johns Green Lantern Omnibus Vol. 1 - 4.5/5

While I'm not a fan of modern Johns this was him at his best. I can't wait for volume 2 this summer.

Superman: Red Son - 4/5

I swear this has been sitting on my shelf for months and I finally got around to it. I thought it was a good read and fun take on the Superman mythos.

Avengers/X-Men Axis - 2/5

I bought this one since it continued what Remender was doing in Uncanny Avengers. This was pretty poor. The story just felt rushed and jumped too quickly from one tangent to another. The artwork is also pretty sloppy.

Superman 32-38, Ulysses' arc - 10/10 Easily best Superman run since the beginning of the new 52, sure Romita's art style takes a little to get used to, but once you do, you realize is far better than the usual Lee-esque artwork, and pretty much better than anything in the N52 Superman series, it's simple, yet sophisticated and it has a LOT of personality, proportions may need a little work in some panels, but I'd much rather see this art style continue than going back to the generic stuff.

Forever Evil - 8/10
It had some good moments, lots of good 1 on 1 cool fights, and awesome Bizarro.

Miss Marvel #13 - 8/10 So Kamala turned white.... Sigh. Still a fun comic, but absolutely hate the new art, Kamala lost all personality.

I've read a whole lot more but I can't remember right now :lol

"Ei8th" Issues 1&2 - 10/10

Fantastic so far can't wait to read more. Can't stop thinking about where the story could go.

"Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier" Issues 1-6 - 8/10

The art is what drew me to this. Good read.

Starting He-Man Eternity War next.

Wolverine Mark Millar Omnibus - 3/5

The first half of the book was the Enemy of the State storyline which I thought was a pretty middle of the road affair. The second half was the Old Man Logan story which was pretty great.

Batman #39 - 4/5

I have a love/hate thing with Snyder's Batman. I loved COO, but have loathed pretty much the rest of the run. However, this story has been pretty damn good so far. I just hope he can stick the landing which he definitely didn't do with DOTF. My only quibble with the issue was with
Alfred's hand being lopped off. I just don't see why it was necessary.
.

I just read this, felt that part was pretty necessary and almost questionable of how they are going to rectify it. There has been so much build up I fear for the ending, I don't think it's going to hit the way it was intended.

I'm powering through a lot of back issues, but as we near the summer I'm having trouble getting motivation knowing it's all getting thrown out of the window with Secret wars and Convergence.

Man, IDW's TMNT was pretty brutal this month........ Also started Superman: Earth One. Really digging it so far. Also, like the new Ant-Man line going (on issue 3 right now).

Batman: The Killing Joke - 8/10

Iron Man: Extremis ------ 8/10

Girls -------------------- 6,5/10

Old Man Logan ---------- 4/10

V for Vendetta ---------- 10/10

Finally read "The Killing Joke," and I must say it's one of the best things I've read in a long time. I'm going to buy more Moore stuff, and also some more Batman graphic novels. I think I'll get "Year One" and "The man who laughs" next.

Just read through Thanos vs Hulk. 2.5/5

It had a few decent moments, art was good, as to be expected. But it certainly doesn't live up to the title.

Every year or two I pull out my old TPBs of Elfquest and read through them. Been a couple of years since, so I started that as my bedtime reading last night. Always a 10/10

I stuck with the 4 books that end with the war with the trolls for a long time, but I eventually picked up 5 - 9 that round out the whole story nicely.
