I agree 100%. This was one of my "day one" reads as soon as I got back from the shop.

I do have one small observation that's more of a "huh moment" than anything else, but I came into DC with Infinite Crisis where there was a Superman, Lois, and a Superboy who were all refugees from a reality (realities) that no longer existed, and now the Superman that THEY encountered finds himself in the same position they were once in.

I doubt they'll do anything with this, I just found it to be an interesting note.

I'm pretty sure they'll do something with this, it's too much for it to be coincidence, you're up to date with Rebirth? It's gotta be something.

Either that or like Mr. Oz said.

He's not who he thinks he is, after all, there's another reign of the Supermen coming, and there's no Cyborg Superman so far like Supes was looking for in this series, with Hank Henshaw.

So maybe he's Cyborg Superman or even the Eradicator.

Is it bad that I have no idea? I'm a horrible fan who only really sees what's arriving the Monday before when I see the new releases list.
Just checked, yeah Vol. 2 #1 drops the 29th.

I'm like that myself too, but when it comes to Rebirth I'm reading everything for some reason :lol

Hillbilly 9/10

The start of what's sure to be another fun ride from the mind of Eric Powell. This will fill the void of the Goon for me until Lords of Misery comes out.

Of all the things I picked up this week, my favorite was probably The Flintstones; hilarious, biting, and altogether just buckets of dark, satirical fun, I cannot recommend this book enough. It stays true to the characters, while updating the commentary a bit, and, as such, I don't think I've ever laughed this hard at a comic book.

Bleach Manga -8/10

The last arc was so rushed without any forethought and completely unrewarding and so incredibly disjointed. I've been reading it for ten years now, and it went out with a whimper. I'm saddened to see it go nonetheless. The way things went in the final chapter, there's definitely a spin off coming.

Huck - 7.5/10 Solid book, I liked it, art is great, story is pretty straight forward and very easy to read and it's pretty comfy and feelgood.

If you want to read a simple (not)Superman story, because you're one of those weirdos who don't like Superman, than this is for you, you're reading Supes without reading Supes.

Much better than American Alien.

I've really liked all the Rebirth Superman books. I thought I'd get annoyed with him having a kid, but they're doing a great job with the writing. Supergirl is starting out weird--I don't like what they're doing with Cyborg Superman at all--and Superwoman is a waste of time so far.

Yeah, Jon's the complete opposite to, say, Damian :lol I loved the Erradicator's arc, I never liked that character until now.

I don't like Superwoman at all, It's full of "girl power" cliches, why can't they be good characters? With LENA LUTHOR the ULTRAWOMAN outclassing and outsmarting his MALE brother out of the blue :lol

Supergirl is ok, kinda boring, but the art is cute.

Now Wonder Woman is fantastic so far, despite Greg Cucka's occasional dumb feminist remarks.

I need Grant Morrison to come back and write something for Rebirth.

Fraction's Invincible Iron Man: 10/10

Still one of my favourite runs ever. I go through it every year, and each time I enjoy it more. It's full of heart, great interactions between the characters and spot-on characterization. If you haven't read it yet, I'd seriously go and do it. It's Fraction at his best. Spanning from 2008 to 2013, this was the last volume of Iron Man that was truly great. It's definitely a modern classic as far as I'm concerned.

Iron Man: Director of SHIELD: 9/10

It had a few bumps, but starting with Ellis and then continuing with the Knauff Brothers, this Iron Man volume took a character-destructive decision, and made it work. Instead of letting Civil War break Tony, they used that situation to craft new and interesting stories that dealt more with his humanity and not casual super-heroics.

Finally got around to finishing Fables. Lost my interest after the mr dark storyline, and it went of the rails abit in the end. But overall I really like the series.

I just wish the last few chapters weren't a mess with how they were scanned. I checked reddit with some people and for some reason there's some missing chapters and partial chapters towards the current chapter.

I loved Brian K Vaughan's "Saga" when it started. It was a lot of fun.

It isn't fun anymore. The story is meandering and uninteresting now, and worse, it's just one big SJW soapbox.

It's a shame when a once-promising series deteriorates into garbage. I don't think I'll continue reading it anymore. I don't even care what "happens in the end" any more.
