After taking several months off from it, I went back and finished Dead Island. I was getting really annoyed with the Mosbey area and the length of the missions, and had quit for a while because I didn't have the time to play for a few hours to finish a mission. I loaded it up last week, and I will say, after taking a break, I really got back into it and enjoyed it right up to the end. I did find the final boss a bit easy to take down, but I really enjoyed the jungle area of the maps and the prison overall. I didn't hit the glitches that seemed to stop otheres on the PS3 and it ran smoothly right to the end. There are still a few clipping issues, and minor glitches (getting blown up through a closed steel door rings a bell), but I had a lot of fun ending the game, and have since started it again to get to level 50. The areas you can explore are vast, and it really feels like you have a whole Island to play with, which I absolutely loved. Just wandering around to see what you can find, and stomp on. Overall, I'd give it a solid 8/10.

I played every ounce of Fallout 3, New Vegas, and all the DLC, got all the achievements, and did everything I could in them.

The one thing I hadn't done was Mothership Zeta. I hadn't heard great things, so when it came out I didn't bother. Due to a drought of new stuff, and having recently replayed everything I wanted to, I decided to give it a shot.

And it really, really sucked. Repetitive enemies, stupid story, not much character interaction, and incredibly similar levels. This DLC pack deserves every bit of its bad reputation.

2/10

Well thank you for that as i just finished fallout 3 and liked it and was considering new Vegas but haven't heard the best of things about it so I'll probably just skip it

All of the other F3 DLCs are worth it. Broken Steel is definitely substantial. And if you're going to get them, do this first as it raises the level cap to 30. Anchorage and Point Lookout are fun (Point Lookout has some great atmospheric visuals, as well). The Pitt was entertaining, though slightly dull at points. But I'd recommend all four.

Dragon's Dogma - 9/10

It has it's share of problems, but for someone looking for a fun and immersive rpg, it's a blast. Plus, the combat is the best out there, bar none.

Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning - 8.5/10 (thought it was pretty good, kinda disappointing the sequal won't be made)

Been looking forward to a sequel since I played this. Hopefully someone else will carry the torch. :monkey2

Yeah, maybe Shilling can sell it off to someone so they can develop it. It was a good game. I think it probably seemed too similar to too many other fantasy RPGs to stand out.

Batman: Arkham City 10/10

Took me forever to get around to this one, but the GOTY edition was too good a deal to pass up. Game was fantastic and it was awesome to play all of NG+ as Dark Knight Returns Batman.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

8/10

The game was fun, but I didn't like the training the assassins' and taking over the cities in Mediterranean defense.

The Walking Dead: Episode 3

7.5/10

Not as good as Episode 2, namely because
you don't have any choice despite what you can say or do in saving anyone despite half of the cast getting killed off this episode :(

Fatal Frame III: The Tormented

6/10

Sucked compared to the first two. Not as scary, and more than half of the enemies/ghosts are more annoying than frightening. Flying all over the damn place making it extremely difficult to kill, especially when there's more than one. Over all, FFIII felt way too long and at times frustrating.

It did have a few plus sides. The Tattooed Priestess chasing you everywhere like Nemesis, only through walls and air since she's a pissed off ghost was excellent. The candle segments were neat, but thankfully only at the end as they were a little annoying as they ran out rather quickly.

In the end, I had to force myself to finish this game; it dragged on way too long and the story's pacing felt off. It's no wonder they never bothered to port this or make a director's cut version like the first two.
