Re: Stuff and Things, Pg. 3

Just noticed your have your own thread :wave

Great work on the head paints, you look to have nailed the skin tones and IMO that is the hardest part :hi5:

Thank you, I figured I would give it a go!

I have been itching to paint this Rick, but I haven't had any daylight hours free to do it until today (I've been at it since 7am ...)

Re: Stuff and Things, Pg. 3

Now that’s commitment :lol

Daylight is the best time to mix skintones. Even with daylight bulbs they sometimes look strange in natural light.

Re: Stuff and Things, Pg. 3

I always paint my skin tones in natural daylight. I was wondering if anyone did this. I used to do it my daylight lamps. Then when I come upstairs look at it in the daylight it would be super pale or just off. Skintone is key!

Re: Stuff and Things, Pg. 3

Yes, I've got a really perma-tanned looking Connery sculpt because I didn't do it in natural light :rotfl

May strip it off and do it again at some point.

Re: Stuff and Things, Pg. 3

Dubby, you are really better and better! Really great progress!

Thank you :hi5:

I have another Bruce Lee body and a custom sheriff outfit on the way....so next weekend I'll be painting my hatted Rick I think!

Re: Stuff and Things, Pg. 3
