I'm not sure how many LOTR figs you have, but I'd love to see your shelf.

Question for anyone here: is your pipe bent or crooked? Is it supposed to be? Mine's a bit tweaked from sitting in that staff all the way from China. I'm sure a little heat will solve the problem but I don't want to try and straighten it if its supposed to be tweaked.

Mine's got a curve to it, but no more than Frodo and Sam's.

As for my shelf, I don't have one. With the space I have right now, the only 1/6 pieces I have on display are Darth Maul, Jabba and Bib Fortuna, and T-800. Everything else is in storage bins for now. I have the entire 1/6 LOTR line though.

No, you guys have good pipes... mine's literally bent near the bowl, making it look crooked. I just wasn't sure if Gandalf's pipe was supposed to be that way...but now I see mine's tweaked weird. I'll take a pic, and then try to heat it and straighten.

i watched the movie yesterday. i have to say the dark cloak was worn on caradakras(spelling sorry) and in moria. cant really tell though.

i also noticed one other thing while watching the film. right after aragorn chops off lurtz's head he runs back to dying boromir. as he is running he kinda jumps over 2 dead orc bodies. when he does you can see one orc flinch and duck down a little and the other one lifts his head up a little after aragorn clears him. i'd have fired those 2 actors or at least beat them and say "WHAT PART OF "DEAD" DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!!!"

Got mine during the week and to to open him up today.

One very nice figure, really like how the hat fits onto the hair, not a fan of the way the hands look.

Got Gandalf outside today...

Sun was off n' on today, but got some more shots...

I gotta say...the more I look at this figure and take shots of him...well, I think this is one of best sixth-scale figures Sideshow has produced this year. (Of course, we'll see how cool Indy turns out to be, eh? )

Gandalf really shines....said it before and I'll say it again....anyone left "on the fence" about getting this figure....c'mon! Go for it!

Also...got some shots of Frodo and Sam over in the Frodo & Sam image thread too...

I agree, this one looks great, looks like the moment before Gandalf rides off to Isengard and leaves Frodo and Sam on their way to Bree.

It used to be , I have a huge collection of Weta, and most of the PFs, LSBs, etc; but stopped with the 1/6 line after Aragorn --- but the shot of Gandalf and the hobbits is just too cool!

If you decide to get back in...definitely get Gandalf and Frodo. Those two alone work on the shelf to rep the movie.

If you get excited and want more, Sam and Boromir are really great too.

Legolas and Faramir not so much unless you're a completist...which makes no sense now that the line is dead.
