Just got my Gandalf today. Here's a quick pic.

Love the hat. To me Gandalf's most iconic look was when he was wearing his hat, so that's how I will have him on my shelf. It also makes him look much taller, which works great when you put hobbits next to him, as he literally towers above them
But boy, do I hate the body he comes on. People are complaining about the Pro but that old Buck sucks big time. And some of the joints are more loose than my Indy.

Anything to help, if I cannot afford Gandalf - I will help those that can.
Unfortunately, he is probably the non-alcoholic version unlike Mighty Jabba's "Five Bottle Gandalf".

Gandalf arrived last week - very nice, and very glad I didn't have to pay Sideshow's asking price!

I also put Fellowship on with an eye for the costume. Here's what I found for anyone else wondering how to use his accessories scene-accurately:

- Shire through Isengard: He wears the hooded cloak and has the staff with the bag and pipe. He never has Glamdring at this stage, although he does have another more generic sword. Its strapped to his horse's saddle and he never uses it (look in the Design Gallery on the EE for pics). After arriving at Isengard, he removes the cloak and hat for his talk with Saruman. The only thing he leaves Isengard with upon his escape is the basic robe, everything else is presumed lost to Saruman (including the hat).

- Rivendell through Moria: He leaves Rivendell with a new (identical) hat, Glamdring, the new staff with the crystal, and the hoodless robe. This new robe is the main piece I think Sideshow dropped the ball on a little - its too dark, too thick, and somewhat shaped wrong. Its supposed to be cut and worn the same as the Gandalf the White cloak. He wears this cloak from Rivendell to Moria until he arrives at the top of the steps with the three passages. Its then gone in the next scene when he's talking with Frodo and trying to figure out which passage to take and he doesn't have it when he proceeds down the corrider to the Great Hall and Balin's Tomb. He sets aside his hat for the battle in Balin's Tomb and doesn't take it with him when they flee to the Bridge of Khazad-dum.
